Mega Man Legends 2
This game could easily be a masterpiece if not for some stupid development choices it had... the biggest one for me is the Artificial difficulty this game has there are simply too many to count, the game was going perfect for 1/3 of it. I can pinpoint exactly where it starts to go downhill for me, which is by the Nino ruins with a terrible water level. With a boss battle that demands you to do a giant path twice to fight him. One fight in the room key and one near the exit of the dungeon, from this part onwards it seems the game starts to really ramp the difficulty, forcing you to farm for zenny and parts. there are enemies that simply spawn out of nowhere, rooms with enemies that does a ton of damage and take almost none, enemies that take so much waiting to kill, some gimmick enemies that will probably kill you at least one time,
THE STUPID AIM THAT KEEP JUMPING TO THE WRONG TARGET, etc etc.
Despite all those flaws it has a lot of good stuff here too, the story is amazing, the OST is insane, the graphics are impressive for ps1 era.
The game just overflows with charisma...
By the end, we got a heartwarming cutscene with a cliffhanger that is actually funny to think now days... shame megaman legends 3 will probably never happen.

Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil
Sadness is what gives you strength, nobody like to be sad, so we try to distract our minds with something. But no matter how, you can't hide from your feeling you can't isolate yourself from danger, sadness or fear. We need to face whatever life throw at us and do our best to not give up... only then we can know what is joy. Those are feelings that all of us have, this is what makes our reality.
Despite the lost in the charms with generic PS2 graphics. Klonoa 2 is simply an upgrade in everything from its predecessor from history to gameplay and features, with an addition of a new gameplay mode which is the Air Board stages as seen in the cover... although it's actually just a few stages.
Klonoa 2 despite not being too big of a game, it sure feels like it, and that is because of the massive stages it has which it can be good or bad depending on who you ask.
The big thing in this one is the history and messages it has... the final boss and ending are actually pretty sad. But what i said in the beginning of this review can apply here... Despite not having an Klonoa 3 and being a semi-neglected series by bandai it makes me sad. but i'm happy those games exist, and make me feel joy to know that we can experience old gems like this in the days we live in. Perhaps it's better to stay like this and keep living in our memories as just great ps1 and ps2 games.
The remake is not bad either, i just feel it deserved more.
