The movement in this game is immaculate; it perfectly emulates Melee's movement. The level design is fun, and each level has good replayability thanks to the timer and leaderboards.

This game is a worthy entry to the Momodora series. The music and art are phenomenal. The gameplay itself is also good, specially after you find some of the movement options; the jump feels a little floaty for my tastes, but that is more of a nitpick than anything else. In the normal difficulty, the game is still a little easy, in particular in the mid to endgame, after finding damage and health upgrades. I'm not one to replay games too often, so I can't comment on the higher difficulties. All in all a good experience, and I'm glad to have met Momo and friends again. :)

A very fun short experience that plays with chess. The wacky rules are super fun to figure out and adapt to. Even though it's tough at the start I had a lot of fun!

This game is definitely a Castlevania game. Nothing more, nothing less. It doesn't bring anything too new to the table, except maybe the mechanic where you input fighting game commands to use special moves with each weapon.

I gotta say though, the ending sequence to this game is surely a contender for the worst one in gaming. Minor spoilers ahead: there are two boss fights back to back, both of which are much more difficult than the whole game before it; it's exaggerated to the point that the game falls apart in a number of ways. You start noticing flaws in basically every aspect of the combat, and even poorly executed programming involving the platforms in the second phase of the fight. It's really frustrating.

Even though I wrote a whole paragraph on how the game ends up absolutely disintegrating itself, I still think it's pretty ok. I would recommend a dozen metroidvanias before this one, but it can also be a fun experience.

Animal Well is great! What I loved the most about this game were the items you collect throughout the adventure; they are very creative and sometimes borderline silly, my favorite was the slinky. Even though there are a few boss fights, there is no combat in this game; if you have to harm an enemy, you have to use the environment. I found this to be actually very refreshing for the genre!

I gotta say, though, that the most impressive aspect of this game is the fact that it's only 34MB. How?!

Anyways, this is one of the best metroidvanias I have played and would definitely recommend to any fan of the genre.

Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip is a light, sweet short adventure. The highlights are definitely the art style and music which are both very charming, and the dialogue that is lighthearted and fun. I have a couple nitpicks but they're nothing too serious: I kinda wish the fast travel were unlocked a bit earlier, but the map's small so it's not a big issue. I also feel like the movement could be a little more complex - though I acknowledge that's a really personal preference - as I think it would add to the sandbox-y feel of the game. The ending includes a nice message too, even though the game would be fine being just a silly thing. In the end, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Sprankelwater. :)

The art direction, sound design and soundtrack for this game are all marvelous. The combat is simple, as 2D Zeldas go, but still satisfying enough to not be boring for the entire game. The story is cute even if it has a bittersweet ending. My only gripe with it is that the progression can be very obtuse at times, which had me recurring to Google somewhat often, especially at the endgame.

i put like 30 hamburger patties in a bucket, dropped them on the grill and the game crashed. 10/10

severely underrated game. absolutely phenomenal narrative

surprisingly a really entertaining game, doing the fusions is just dumb fun and the combat is really unique

unfortunately you have to grind for the stronger characters (like the various transformations of goku or vegeta — yes, they count as separate characters)

stunning visuals, incredible experience

i wish the sidequests weren't so convoluted

huge gameplay improvements from smt iv. i don't think the story is as bad as people make it out to be

also my sd card died as i was just a few hours away from finishing the game, FUCK
