if your main basis for judging this game is "less problematic than va11halla," then i guess it's pretty good, but it pales in comparison in every other way.
the art and ui are fine, it's a perfectly engaging way to spend a few hours. it just seems to have so little to say and so little affection for its characters. just some clumsy platitudes about fantasy racism and boring people sitting in a coffee shop.

maybe it's just because i was looking forward to it so much, but i think this game is kinda middling.
the concept's charming, the art's cute, and the puzzles are fun. the first couple chapters skate by on the promise that more interesting things will be in store later on. unfortunately they aren't. the stories get worse and clumsier as time goes on. i'd say this game is worth a try if it looks good to you, but don't go in with high hopes for the plot.

i will admit that i thought the premise of steampunk ancient greece was really stupid, but the devs are champions at sticking to the bit. the story, art and characters are all basic but charming. the combat puzzles are super fun. i love the gimmick that allows you to explore all of the choices. an overall goofy and fun game that makes me smile when i think back on it.
