fun little murder mystery game, highly recommend if you're someone who likes deducing these kinds of stories
i solved most of the deaths on my own but i had to use a guide for like two, mainly because i couldn't tell what was happening or i misunderstood the scene

havent finished a run yet but the game isn't finished either so idc lol
either way its good, much like the original hades it combines greek myths and roguelikes, two of my favorite things lol
anyways scylla.......if you're free later you could maybe claw out my eyes and drown me to death......if u want to......... >///<

sold my soul to papa i'd do anything for u bestie

its crazy how much this made studying for exams a million times more bearable, gives me something to do with my hands that i dont need to give my full attention to, thanks rusty you're a real one

heavensward is very good, im mad i didn't pay more attention during my first playthrough

imo, the arc with estinien and ysayle is the best part of heavensward, they're probably the most interesting characters to come out of the expansion.
the part where you're trying to get into azys lla kinda dragged on though, i just kinda...didn't care.
thordan as an antagonist is also...kinda underwhelming. like he was this guy who was there, then he was actually evil. the final trial was cool though.

initially i hated estinien, but now after beating endwalker and having a more positive view on him, he's still an asshole for like most of the expansion. he's chill sometimes though.

i still believe that the patch quests had a better conclusion to the expansion than the actual expansion lol

using this as my pandaemonium review

hoooooooly fuck this was awesome. it takes a bit to get going but once it does, it gets GOING. gives you a new perspective on characters while also providing fun battles! also scream and the p12 theme are some of my favorite ost in the game

anyways i have to remake my character tier list, THATS how good pandaemonium was lol

all weapons completed:
idk im kinda underwhelmed that there wasn't anything after beating the spire with all the weapons
i know that octo expansion is like the best of the best, but side order doesn't come anywhere near it
still cute though

first run beaten! (splatana wiper and booyah bomb are GOATED)

it's a little underwhelming and doesn't top octo expansion (but thats very hard to top) but it's cute and fun nonetheless!

acht please make out with me

ok i didn't give this an actual review so im gonna pour some of my thoughts out now

endwalker is beautiful. it's interesting, its funny, its gorgeous, its tragic, i can't think of a single bad thing to say about this expansion

the elpis arc is my favorite. in a large part due to it featuring meteion, my favorite endwalker character, but it also had a lot of things to say.
one moment that stuck out to me was when you're showing hermes that you also have struggles and problems, that he's not alone. there was a dialogue option where you could say something along the lines of "i could tell you about so many issues" and i chose that because it was silly, but then hermes hit me with "despite all your struggles, you're still here." and that almost made me cry
there was another line that venat said, "we too, are miracles" and that also stuck with me
also hythlodaeus and emet are absolutely delightful i love unsundered yaoi

the garlemald arc was another one that stuck with me, especially jullus (jullus my beloved!!!)
it just had so much...despair
the two sisters running away and you finding their bodies in the snow, the general taking his own life after accepting help from the eorzeans, how these both get across in the worst possible way: we'd rather die than trust you
but what stuck with me the most was jullus showing you his home. revealing the place where he killed his tempered family. the thing that fucks me up most is that he didn't have to do that. we had a cure, we could have saved them, but he had no idea. once you're tempered, you're tempered for life, and there was only one thing jullus could do. i don't think i'll ever forget that as long as i live.

also FUCK zenos for trying to kill the scions with MY body >:(

at the end of all things, i don't hate meteion. i could never hate meteion. she didn't mean for all of this to happen, she quite literally did nothing wrong.
at the end, when i got teleported back to the ship and zenos got left behind, i felt bad for him. i mean i hated him since the body-swap fuckery but after that battle, i only feel...pity, i guess? i mean, i had people who were waiting for me to come back, but he had no one. iirc, the only mention of him afterwards is when krile is like "ahh im so sorry for sending him after you"
but maybe this is what he wanted. he got his ultimate battle, so maybe now he can rest in peace.

ffxiv has come a long way from a realm reborn, and i'm so glad that it ended off the whole hydaleyn/zodiark off with a fucking masterpiece. i can say with complete confidence that this is my favorite expansion (and one of my favorite games) by a landslide.

(also i am patiently waiting for that ishgard trip iykyk)

demo review:
i dunno if i've just seen this kind of premise before but i do not trust ANYTHING in this game (except rebecca and the rookie)
which is a good thing! the game does a great job of presenting an atmosphere that this whole endeavor is not as flowery (lol) it seems

the use of acronyms has me very suspicious, (thanks undertale) that BUGs may not be the villain the game makes it out to be. I mean, essentially lobotomizing your patients (albeit more humanely(?) but its still lobotomy) is very questionable.

also i do not believe the doctor is a human. i do not trust FACTOR, however i would trust rebecca with my life.

the gameplay...its a visual novel with typing and swiping what more could i tell you
(i did love the animation/visual usage of the doctor's hands though, reminds me of hylics(? i could be misremembering the game but i think it was hylics))

all in all very interesting game, definitely gonna check out the full version in the future

post endwalker review:

its still pretty mid, but after beating endwalker and knowing details that were previously unknown enhanced the experience
arr does have its moments, one that stuck out to me in particular was the final battle against lahabrea and the little undertale-esque moment that happens (i know this game was pre undertale but idk how else to describe it)
the dilly-dallying is still ridiculous though and really dampens the urgency that the game is trying to convey
all in all its alright but ffxiv gets soooo much better with later expansions and does a lot of tropes used in arr better with future expansions as well

muse dash if it wasn't weird as fuck
also banger songs

cute little game with an intriguing plot and interesting characters
looking forward to the next chapter!

i remember liking this a lot more when i saw manlybadasshero play this but it definitely wasn't boring

they weren't kidding, this FUCKS
