My first Fire Emblem game. It's fairly fun to play from time to time, but far too easy. The postgame is also highly lacking, with nothing to do aside from beat up monsters in Valni and Lagdou.

A well refined and excellent gameplay experience and THE definitive way to experience the first Fire Emblem game. Easy on lower difficulties but one of the most fun challenges on the higher difficulties.

Bad uninspired Musou game with largely uninteresting gameplay over Koei Tecmo's more polished Warriors games and one of the most lopsided rosters of characters in the series.

A very... Okay game. In regards to story it's still good, but characters were massively compromised by the awful support mechanics. Unit balance is all over the place and the game is surprisingly tough on Normal and above.

A very unique but fun entry in the series possessing numerous refinements over the first three titles and one of the best stories in the franchises. Its Achilles' heel is simply how easy it is, mostly due to enemies being far too weak.

One of the worst entries in the series. In regards to map design it is largely bad, Book 1 suffered far too many compromises to be worth playing over the original NES version or the Shadow Dragon remake, while Book 2 is brainlessly easy, sluggish, and completely inferior to New Mystery.
Dropped at Chapter 3. Fuck that map.

Series peaked here. One of the best games of all time. I don't particularly enjoy the addition of an avatar character and the prologue, and some chapters from FE3 are still god awful in regards to general map design, but the gameplay is well refined and challenging.

An expansive and very fun chapter. Go play it if you haven't already.

As we all know, this is where the ROM hacking scene peaked. No hack can compare to this. Give up.

Jokes aside, while it does suffer from a ridiculous plot and nonsensical chapter design, I don't think it's nearly as bad as everyone gives it credit for. It's a frustrating experience most of the time, but for me I found enjoyment regardless.
Play the sequel, Sun God's Wrath. I haven't gotten to it but from what I've heard it's leaps and bounds above the quality of Corrupt Theocracy.

Not a good hack at all. It's a shame it was never finished. Dropped like two chapters in.

A dated and bad hack from years back that suffers from nonsensical unit balance and a poor story and writing. Dropped it a few chapters in. Wouldn't reccomend.

A steep downgrade to Ruby and Sapphire. While it does contain the refinements of newer generations and ways to amend the tedium present in the GBA games, it is lacking notable amounts of content and the difficulty has largely taken a nose dive, making the game feel brainless from the fourth Gym badge onwards.

This is where the Pokemon series peaked. Presenting possibly the only competent story in the series, one of the best and most vast regions, and a far wider selection of Pokemon to use compared to the prequel's Unova-only regional dex, Black 2 is one of the best games I've ever played.

While itself a fantastic game, it seriously suffers from issues with the game's story pacing and overall speed, as well as questionable Pokedex decisions. Play Platinum if you're able to.
