This game I love simply because it was something I continuously played during my childhood…but Jesus Christ it’s horrible and honestly difficult in places where it shouldn’t be.
Despite my rating this is definitely one of my favorite games ever. The detail and creativity put into the design is unlike any other. Truly beautiful. The gameplay though fun, can feel repetitive and a bit boring after a while but the story and beauty of the game keep it going. I prefer the first game, but I will always love and cherish this one.
Took me a whole year to finish this game out of frustration and repetitive failure. The atmosphere is extremely comforting, reminding me of ps2 fantastical worlds. The mechanics were a little difficult to adjust to at first but became muscle memory after a little. I like games that come with a challenge and this one certainly was one when it came to combat or simply even journeying from one area to the next. As much as I love madness returns, the vibes and comfort that this one brings me makes me adore it so much more.

As a pre-teen, this game played a big part in me and my growth. I was drawn into the world of the last of us and its monsters and Ellie. Ellie helped me become comfortable with my sexuality and the relationship between Ellie and Joel reminded me of that with my father. Replaying it as an adult was equally as amazing and made me think more about morality and the wrong decisions that even our favorite characters make, and how the effects of an apocalypse alter human behavior. lovely game lovely experience lovely dialogue, lovely soundtrack, they make it all feel real. I would play this game a million times over.

such a cute game the bosses can be surprisingly difficult at times, bruh ngl the plot got me teary-eyed. But Its beautiful, the world is beautiful and it's really satisfying to clear away the shadowy spirits.
