The Absurd Reasons I Have For Getting Certain Games

Nothing here!

I mistook the developers of this game, Monolith, for Monolith Soft, the developers behind Xenoblade Chronicles X, a game I've grown to love.
Look, man, any game that has Before My Body is Dry as a track is an instant cop. That song makes me go buck wild.
I only bought this because I think Tite Kubo's character designs are tied with Tetsuya Nomura's for some of the rawest shit ever, and I wanted to see these in a game that doesn't look terrible (sup Jump Force?).
I got this game at the tender age of 4 cuz I saw Winnie the Pooh and thought "I need this game yesterday."
I saw an ad of Ty hospitalizing Sonic and thought, "Damn, this game might be raw!" It wasn't.
I needed a pallet cleanser after Tales of Zestiria. It ended up being worse.
I wasn't old enough to play Devil May Cry by the time I got this, and I thought it would be a good substitute despite knowing fuck all about Star Wars. It's better than the Lords of Shadow games at least.
I needed SOMETHING to validate my purchase of a PS4, because all I had to play for the most part were Final Fantasy XV, Tales of Zestiria, and Dragon Quest Heroes, and I hate all 3 of those games with a burning passion.
I foolishly thought it'd be like the Pac-Man World games.
I saw it on sale for 5 bucks on PSN back in 2012 and bought it cuz I thought the Japanese box art was sick. It ended up being one of my favorite games of all time and the only Persona game besides 2 I can wholeheartedly recommend.
Hehe, robot bear go brrrr.
I came for Sonic having a sword, stayed for the existentialism and the meaning of life.
You had me as soon as I found out I can shove bullies into lockers.
Read what I put for Sakura Wars. Funnily enough, this is what got me into Bleach when I was in middle school.
The main theme was done by FLOW, and I thought "This game must be good." This game makes me wanna commit war crimes.
I heard the soundtrack and thought "I need to play this game immediately." Also, this was my formal introduction to Hiroyuki Sawano, so it definitely did something right.
