This game is old and was made for the Famicom, so I'll spare it in the visuals department. A very unique story with humorous writing and characters, very emotional music and its a fun journey. Not many people will agree with me, but I think it was a good start to the Mother series.

This game combines turn based combat and bullet hell game-play to create one of the most fun game-plays I've ever experience before. It's funny and charming dialogue, memorable characters, emotional and dramatic music, and generic turned unique narrative make this game a 4.5 stars for me. The only things that bring the score down just a little bit is the unimpressive visuals and the archaic use of random encounters.
