The narration is absolutely awful. Even after an hour the story in this game kept me in the absolute dark while giving more and more unexplained info in a very weird way. Also, Jess is an awful bland character with zero emotions or lack of any reactions in many case. The gameplay is fun at first but gets repetitive quickly with same types of enemies over and over again. The combat gameplay feels like it wants to be a cover shooter but has no cover system. Lastly, the map is so confusing that half of my time got wasted finding ways. Overall, this game had potential but didn't click for me.

A very well-made 3D puzzle platformed game. I must say, as far as graphics go, this game was way ahead of its time. Also how the lore connects to Half-Life is unbelievable. However, this game is extremely stressful and I need to be extremely precise at some chambers. I'm stuck at test chamber 18 and lost my patience already.

The first one was way better than this one. It only has 3 characters and the campaign is lame.

The best Kaiju game of my childhood. It has Godzilla, Kong, Ultraman and some other monsters (although their names are Geon, Woo and Astroman due to licensing complications). It's basically WWE of monsters in city full of people.

verifiedVirus played Dave the Diver: Dredge
I never really cared about dlcs. But this is the best DLC I've seen! The best two indie games of 2023 collaborates and creates a free DLC! It feels like I'm dreaming. It introduces Dredge mechanics, characters and the fishes into the Dave the Diver game.

The best mixed genre management game available out there.

It's a metroidvania rougelite underwater exploration game when Dave is diving under the sea. It's a restaurant management game when Dave works at the Sushi bar at night. It's also a farming game where Dave grows rice, carrots, eggplants etc and raises chickens & fishes in Ottos farm. It's a visual novel when it shows Brancho's backstory. It's a cooking game when Brancho is in competition. It felt like a stealth spy game at some point. It blends many more genres and it keeps introducing new mechanics of the game even after 30 hours of playtime.

Also, it's a great story-rich game that is both serious and goofy at times, with a lot of character references from other games/movies/shows like Pokemon (fat ash), King of Fighters, Skyrim, Salt Bae, The Matrix, Bioshock, Tomb Raider, Half-Life, One Piece, and so on. This game also features crafting, boss fights, and a variety of other activities. It's a combination of almost everything we know in gaming.

A decent fighting game with a good variation of combos. The fighting backgrounds look nice and the music is good too. However, the AI is annoyingly hard and the characters feel like ripoffs of the Street Fighters games.
