i love platformer games where every level has a distinct new gameplay flavor and this is the finest distillation of that

this game is without a doubt the best platformer fighter ever made. i wish i could time travel back to the beginning

all five fighters are great additions. high point of Hero, low point of Byleth (aesthetically; Byleth's gameplay is fantastic)

good final fighter; kind of a catch 22: allowing disney representation in would have made the character less bland and more representative of his game, but would have been odd in a video game fighter

less solid than the first, but still incredible; high point of steve, low point of kazuya

open world imo does not suit Pokémon; runs terribly; FANTASTIC story with the best ending in the series; great creature designs

introduces the best rival (maybe the best human character to the series) with like 200 extra monsters to catch, and a story that doesn't adhere to the formula that the main series does

feels like they introduced less mons; BBQs are repetitious boring and unfortunately mandatory for completion. good new mon designs, though, and a great culmination for the story

people shit on this but it's a great Pokémon game; extremely clean art design, at times a phenomenal story, with some of the best music in recent memory.

2nd favorite game of all time; tightest 2D platform from a purely mechanical standpoint with a great narrative throughline

fantastic. tough as nails and better for it

it just makes me want more celeste man

solid intuitive party game that is easy to play a few games of or a whole night's worth of
