super nostalgic and a really fun game to just sit and pass the time. completely worth the 5,89€ it's priced at on steam; i hope the other papa's games get remakes too!

not everyone's cup of tea, but personally i really enjoyed it. loved rebecca from when i played re1r, so seeing her as the main character in a game as well is nice! i like the dynamic between her and billy as the story progresses, and i love how the game shows that she's genuinely just a good-hearted person.

when it comes to the actual gameplay, that's usually where we start losing people, and while i've grown used to how the game works by now, there's no denying that it's definitely flawed in aspects. my main criticisms are:
- no item box, thus forcing you to leave a lot of items pooling on the floor (and the rooms have limits to how many items can be placed in them).
- hard-hitting and pretty annoying enemies if you don't know how to fight them (and even if you do, there's a chance you might get stunlocked).
- the bat boss. possibly one of the worst made bosses in all of resident evil if i were to say from memory.
- the hookshot. the game does not tell you when to discard it and it takes up two of your very limited inventory slots.

a lot of the game becomes much less frustrating once you've already played through it once; knowing what enemies can be avoided, enemy weaknesses, the general route, which character to take where, etc. makes the game so much easier.

if you are a completionist like me and like to 100% re games, this one is honestly fairly easy compared to the others as long as you have patience; definitely would not recommend doing this one however if you're not that big a fan of the franchise.

the game is pretty relaxing; it's one of those cozy games you can play mindlessly to pass time. it's fun for the most part, but the game itself is kind of buggy (some achievements are even bugged and won't unlock :/), and sadly the game relies a lot on real time passing for you to really be able to do anything and progress.

even though don't starve together is fun by itself, it's even more fun with friends! most sessions i've had with my friends always ended with us getting into some cursed shit and dying in stupid ways, and it's much funnier than it is upsetting to have to restart the world after dying as you learn something new after every death.

you'll definitely get your moneys worth for the infinite hours of playtime this game gives you, as it is a packed sandbox game. there's lots to learn, and new things happen as the in-game days and seasons pass, which is really funny when you're playing blind for the first time.

different to the regular singleplayer don't starve game, DST has fun reskins and clothing items you can unlock, which just adds to the list of things for you to do in this game, which i like. you also get rewarded with these things by simply playing the game, or even just logging into the game daily.

the game gets updated regularly, so if you thought you were done, there's almost always something new to do after a while! after all this time klei still update the game and listen to community feedback - they're such an awesome team and i'd totally recommend checking out their other games as well.

undeniably one of the best video game remakes ever made.

the first resident evil game i ever played, which quickly also became my favorite game ever. amazing graphics, atmosphere, characters, sound design, story and everything else. i've put 100+ hours into this game and every playthrough has been just as fun as the first; i even still get freaked out hearing mr. x stomping around the police station. could not recommend this game enough - especially if you're new to the resident evil franchise!

it's been so long since i played, but i remember having a lot of fun playing. super sad they shut it down, i hope it somehow comes back some day :(

easily one of my favorite games ever! there's so much to do in the game and so much replayability. i have hundreds of hours on it and i'm still achievement hunting and making new farms where i discover new things. i can play this game for hours on end every day and not get bored. also super impressive that the game is mostly made by one person (concernedape), who also keeps coming with updates to the game despite its age. looking forward to his upcoming game haunted chocolatier as well!!
