Other than the fact that it's too easy to accidentally finish the game without finishing all objectives and getting to experience all the cool scenes from Chris' imagination, exploring the little house and its surroundings is really cool as you learn more about the kid and his family, especially the origin of his archnemesis, MantRoid.

It's a really cool concept in terms of the story and the set of ever increasing misfits, each with their own usefulness to the group, and the atmosphere built throughout the game is exceptional. The really good thing about the gameplay is that there often many ways to get past guards, especially towards the ending, where there's a lot of ways to use your surroundings and equipment.

However, the big problem with the gameplay is just how unforgiving it is for small mistakes, which I guess adds towards realism (step out of your cover and get an arrow shot clean through you), but also makes for a very frustrating gaming experience sometimes, when you need to repeat the same sequence of things again and again and again.

The other bad thing is with the story - the characters don't seem to grow as much as they should. Without many spoilers, the main relationship is improved, yes, and many friends are gained, but Amicia never learns from her mistakes and continues to exhibit the same flaws, as seen in the epilogue. I guess Hugo experiences quite a lot of growth.

Overall, with some frustrations from both the story and the gameplay, it's a really fun atmospheric ride.

Putting balls in holes has never been easier.

Even though it has its faults (some song titles are not translated, making it really hard to distinguish them, there is no explanation of what everything in the interface means, which made me accidentally go from difficulty 1 to 8), it's a beautifully designed game, both in its visuals (stunning) and gameplay (super intuitive and easy to setup). Could have more songs on it though as it feels unfinished.

It doesn't have as many good songs as other Just Dance editions, but the few good songs are REALLY good, especially the surprise Yameen Yasar song that basically exists nowhere else but is my favourite here. The world stage could also be improved as you can basically play only the songs included in the game and not anything else.

Even though it does have a pretty mid mid, making it hard to continue because of the huge world with not enough rational variety, the ending cases completely changed my mind. The overall expansive story is incredibly engaging and very anime-like, the characters are fun to fall in love with, the visual aesthetic is improved with its clean feel, but the gameplay is a bit limited in the running around the map in set paths kind of way. I definitely don't regret playing this as all of the elements together created a really cool collection of cases to solve in a fun and engaging way and in a mind-blowing overarching story.
