Now for what this is... it's fine, plays pretty well and isn't bad for a minimal 3D puzzle/platformer. I'm glad to see they're trying some new and innovated approaches with this franchise. Now that being said, I still truly love the 2D games a lot better, they play so much more fluidly. I am of the age of when games went from 2D to 3D I wasn't a fan of 3D games at all when they came out, so just take my words with a grain of salt, because you might actually enjoy this one a lot more than I did.
This one is a lot of fun, a little too easy but still fun. Going into it I thought it was going to be kind of meh, but the fact that each stage is a new pinball board was pretty cool. The cut scenes are short and sweet. The rest of the game isn't doing anything too innovating, but I do welcome this stage switch up in a pinball videogame... I definitely wish more pinball videogames did that.

I was thinking that I was only going to play this for a split second just to see how they made Pam Anderson looked on the GBA. Eventually, I ended up truly enjoying this one playing through a few levels. It has similar elements to Rolling Thunder and Elevator Action but with more of an open run n gun style with character tradeoffs and power ups.

I enjoy a good Shmup, but I am also very picky because most of the time they'll start off hard as hell and can be discouraging to play for most people. The pace to building up its difficulty for this one is perfect and very rewarding to play, I didn't want to stop. Turbo Grafx 16/PC Engine Shmups are some of my favorites, this one especially right next to Air Zonk.
