TwinBee Yahho!: Fushigi no Kuni de Ooabare!! is a vertical-scrolling shoot-'em-up released by Konami as a coin-operated video game in 1995. It is the third and final game in the TwinBee series released for the arcades. During the same year as its arcade release, the game was released for the PlayStation and Sega Saturn in a two-in-one compilation with its predecessor, Detana!! TwinBee, titled Detana! TwinBee Yahho!. It was later included in the PlayStation Portable compilation TwinBee Portable, released in 2007. Like most games in the TwinBee series, it was released exclusively in Japan, although an unproduced international version was planned under the title of Magical TwinBee.

Mi primer twinbee de arcade, es visualmente bello algo complicado pero se juega y se puede terminar. 100% recomendado. Es una linda aventura.

for the last twinbee shmup, they went all-out. Definitely feels more like a sequel to detana rather than popn, which I definitely appreciated seeing as I liked that game more. Gameplay-wise it felt like a culmination of the previous games. The charge shot from detana returns, with the flexibility of being able to choose 4 different types of charge shots. There's also a weapons system where destroying ground targets can earn weapons for twinbee to use, though equipping two at once can prevent you from using ground bombs as twinbees hands are too full to throw bombs with. The presentation here is INSANE. The art is the best it has ever been, there's a mfin vocal opening and ending, voice acting throughout the stages, and fun setpieces in each level. I think the point of twinbee is to try and make a playable shoot-em-up anime episode and they succeeded with flying colors here. It's all paced really fast making the game feel like an exciting theme park ride. I do think it did end a bit abruptly though as I was expecting some kind of final climax showdown that didn't really happen but eh. Out of all the Twinbee games I have played, I've liked this one the most. Just a quick crazy burst of colorful arcade nonsense that I'm sure to go back to again and again whether to play the game in co-op or to try and get that 1CC. Banger.

Vertical shooter and the last of the arcade TwinBee releases, and not an improvement on the previous titles. You still have a straight shot and arms that throw bombs that they aim automatically at ground targets, you can pick up satellites that follow you and shoot, choose between four charged types of shots at game start that don't tend to feel very useful, and pick up a sub weapon for each arm (having one in each stops you from hitting ground targets). Not being able to choose to drop a sub weapon if you accidentally picked one up can be a problem. Still has one of the worst powerup and scoring systems I've encountered where you hit clouds that launch a bell that you can juggle with shots to get them to change colors for different bonuses, one shot changes them back to normal and since you will likely hit a bell anywhere from 2-5 times anytime you shoot this is inconvenient, though not as much as it would be in a normal shooter as even when your attention is on or being shifted between bells and enemies the enemies are such pushovers and often so light in number that they aren't much of a threat. The six stages are over fast with some taking barely any time at all. Backgrounds can still look colorful and can give you something interesting to look at but like the gameplay those can often have stretches of dull zones as well.

The final mainline Twinbee game, Yahho! is not just the best game in the series, but a perfect send-off for the franchise. Every issue I've seen leveled at the other Twinbee games, from the confusing power-up system to the poor weapon options, has been remedied here which when combined with the stellar presentation makes this one of the best-looking and feeling shmups of the 90s. It may be a little shorter than other games in the genre, but every moment is just sublime distilled FUN. It's absolutely criminal that this has not been given a proper western release. Play it now!
