This game was mad fun, still is. It got me hooked in instantly. It's also a dangerous game, if it gets you, you are in for at least a few hours:)))
It's a medieval warfare game, in a fictional realm called Calradia which consists of 6 Nations. You start from the bottom, you can build your own army, make relations with lords, kings and you can choose to be a vassal or make your own Kingdom and conquer the entire realm and unify all of Calradia.
Its just so much fun, going into an open Field while being outnumbered by the enemies and defeating them or attacking a fort and claiming it for your kingdom.
This game also had lots of mods and dlcs like Floris, Napoleonic Wars or the Viking Conquest.
Oh and also, the soundtrack is a chef's kiss. 👌

Man i love this game:)

Everyone hates on King Harlaus until they have to be King Harlaus. I just want to win tourneys and fight mountain bandits and woo maidens, but no, the butter must flow

Fucking Warband. A mercernary company/kingdom simulator.
Not much to say here, absolute banger in all aspects, and with an obscene number of mods and conversions at your disposal. You should play this game at some point in your life, or wait until Bannerlord is out of early access. You will play it a couple of hours at first and then devote your whole life to it, trust me

This game probably doesn't deserve five stars on a technical level, but, there just ain't no greater feeling than mercilessly slaughtering hordes of my enemies all so I can establish an empire doomed to collapse to micromanaging.

esse jogo é tipo:
- domine esse castelo
- repita isso 52392085920358932 vezes
- esmague as próprias bolas com um martelo de guerra
- aaaaahhhhhhh minhas bolas

PERFECTION, there are not enough words to describe this game without writing a complete essay

Warband was one of those crack PC games for me where I put something like 60 hours into it during the first week of picking it up. Great sandbox knight simulator. I WILL DRINK FROM YOUR SKULL.

nooooo don't play 1600 hours of mount & blade
stop
Please

the breadth and depth of mods available for the game have turned warband from a good but very rough example of how to make a game that plays in a unique way by assembling it from well-used parts into a few handfuls of great games that offer the same satisfying core loop with a dizzying array of choice in terms of both extra mechanics and overall theme. fantastic example of how making solid modding tools can elevate your game

Played this a crazy amount of time and i never got tired. And that was without even trying all the different mods, especially the total conversion ones.
Play it now, it's the peak of crushing your enemies, seeing them driven before you, and hearing the lamentation of their women (as you ransom them back to their family members like a villain).

Jankiest game I have ever played ✅
Crashes constantly✅
Ugliest graphics ever seen by man ✅
Combat is clicking until the enemy falls over ✅
Tactics as difficult as asking your army to charge ✅

This game is a fucking masterpiece, with one of the best modding scenes out there

Mount & Blade: Warband is without a doubt one of the best medieval life sims ever made if not the best. This game should honestly not be as good as it is. The graphics are ugly and the animations are strange and stiff yet it owns it. You can do anything in it, it's insane. What do you do in this game you might ask? Anything. What do you mean by anything you may ask? ANYTHING! Do you want to be an infamous raider who enslaves villagers and sells them into slavery? You can. Do you want to be a merchant who travels from one place to another selling goods in an everchanging amazing economy system? You can. Do you want to be a King who destroys all other competition and controls everything? You can. This game's freedom is what makes it truly amazing. This game's lack of story is it's story. Every playthrough is like an entirely different game, not one playthrough or experience will be the same. The combat is great, the mix between action and strategy is genius, the economy system is realistic and can be changed and influenced dynamically by the player or NPCs, the character creation is great. This game is truely a treat for any RPG fan, especially those who love to roleplay and immerse themselves into a world. You can be anything and do anything. And with the abundance of mods for this game that is especially true. Conversion mods that add such settings as: Lord of The Rings, Game of Thrones, Warhammer, various different time periods in our own world from Ancient Rome to Renaissance Europe to the Crusades to the Wild West. There are even mods that add new and original worlds such as Perisno and Pendor with their own lore, characters, and style. And the game's expansions are amazing, Viking Conquest adding a new humongous map that takes place in our world during the Viking age, Viking Conquest adds so much and is an impressive and great expansion. Napoleonic Wars adding a new multiplayer module that is extremely fun and expansive. This game is a must have for any RPG or life-sim fan.

You're completely feeling the atmosphere of medival

Janky as hell but insanely fun. I had always wanted to play an RTS game where you could play the macro-level wars and also zoom in to fight in the individual battles. This is that game. Multiplayer was a blast as well.

I have over 200 hundred hours in this game and have never played without cheating

The release of the original Mount & Blade was a good sign for us. Since a previously unknown Turkish studio was able to create a game of a wild genre, combining a primitive land slasher and a magnificent “horse” action with ancient graphics and cheap production, forcing us to shamelessly admire and admire it, this means that not everything in the industry can be confident yet solved with the help of the publisher's endless budget. It is also important to take into account such a seemingly unassuming factor as a purely personal feeling for the successful fate of your creation, which can only come from the heart. After this, the amount of funds allocated for development does not matter much.

I did not have a single ounce of fun with this

That perfect combination of jank and pure unbridled heart that's impossible to replicate. This game will reign eternal as a masterpiece

Many years after its release, it's still a much better game than Bannerlord. As long as this game exists, it's unlikely that Bannerlord will really get a chance. The developers are so visionless and lazy that the game they made in 2010 still looks better than the game they made in 2022, and that's a serious problem. I don't think I'll be excited about any other game from Taleworlds after this, and they probably won't even try to develop another game, because Bannerlord took them 10 years to develop, and the result is a mediocre game that relies on mods to fill it out. But what they forgot is that the same was true for Warband. The developers also never bothered to write a story for the single player campaign in Bannerlord. Their only concern was to make an online game. But that's also true for Warband. In short, everything Bannerlord has to offer, Warband already gave to players years ago.

There are so many mods for this game that you essentially have like 100 games in 1 if you buy this. Greatest sandbox game to ever grace mankind.

Eşşe biniyon kılıç sallıyon ha hu ha hu ok mok atıyon

Simply a masterpiece, I love it and always will.

Um dos grandes games deste século. INCRÍVEL!

try and fuck your lords daughters or wife and then uninstall when you get imprisoned

Too much grind for my taste. The sandbox and the combat system are nice, but I wish the battles were bigger, plus I hate the fact that lords keep escaping when imprisoned.
