good starting point - needs some more time to cook. there's currently little in the way of pushback besides apparent breakdowns of production and the ai lord's mercenary armies, if you play his game mode. those breakdowns are annoying as families seem to get stuck doing nothing sometimes or else struggle to connect their goods to marketplaces that aren't very close to where they work. as for the ai lord, his diplomatic features have yet to be implemented and so there's little difference between 'him' as a faction entity and the brigands besides the size of his armies. after getting fairly late into each game mode one time each, i'm ready to put the game aside until it matures

really could have used a little more love - probably the worst pass at script editing i have ever seen from a game released professionally within my lifetime - but the music is great and the emotional beats resonate well enough despite their simplicity. give us more magical girl games

the general availability of information on how the game actually functions is low and the actual sim engine is extremely barebones (first to 20 kills wins, k/d/a comes from periodic events). the fluff is better than some others but this is as similarly hollow as the rest of the genre in its current state
