It's good to see moves from past games returning, it's really a shame that KOF 13 sacrificed so much graphics that only works with less than half the roster. But this game fixes a lot of my issues with 13 and 14. It's still upsetting that Ralf and Ryo are still pretty awful, give us their old movesets!

i was never great at the KOF games, but this game was a day one purchase for me (which is saying something; i barely buy games on day one). can't wait for cross platform online to be implemented.

SNK tried and being honest i believe they delivered. Some small stuff comes together to create a bigger issue and unfortunately SNK haven't addressed these issues almost one year after the release. Even so it still isn't nowhere as good as SamSho 2019.
I was a big fan of XIV so I'm very glad to see that not only has this improved on that game but that other people are digging it as well. Its been awhile since I've really felt excited for a fighting game. Netcode is good; I am getting ripped apart in Ranked (and Casual even!) but it never feels like there's gonna be a drop. Roster is good and it feels great to play. My only gripes are I would have loved some more XIV originals to come back (Mian :() and the story feels somewhat rushed. I know this is an insane thing to say, but I am a weirdo who really loves the backstory and lore of the series. Closing the saga in two doesn't give quite as much room for stuff to happen and plots like "dead characters are back" don't feel as impactful as it should. Otherwise, a stellar fighter, easily the best fighter in awhile, and a top tier KoF. Can't wait for Geese to drop.

Sitting at almost 20 hours of gameplay I think its about time I talk about KOF15!
FGs is one of my if not my all time favorite genre of video games since a kid. Within my love for FGs also stood my love KOF but I was always bad at the series and stayed pretty bad at the games all the way through until 15 so I never really got that deep into KOF due to this. But something clicked with me and I actually begun to learn 15 and I have to say the game is simply amazing. Very fun cast of characters , combos , stages, OST and GREAT online play really makes for a fantastic fighting game all around. I am very glad I didn't let my past experience with the series stop me from buying this game.

Yeah, this was really good. Like peak SNK. You're gonna get smoked online, that's normal. But enjoy. I can recommend it, you'll have a lot of fun with it.

Currently the best fighting game out on the market
Great fighting game, I dont play much fighting games and the reason why is because they feel miserable once you lose a couple times. For KoF XV this is not the case at all and even when losing I feel like I'm having fun which is nice
KOFXV is a lot of fun. It feels like it has what I tend to like about fighting games in it without compromising too much in the name of greater audience appeal. A lot of the characters are fun. The story mode gets you some pretty good character interactions and personal stories. Music is fantastic and the jukebox is very expansive as well.
About my only complaints is the PC Port sucks. The visuals are pretty inconsistent in their quality. Like some characters look great and then others just look bad or not that impressive at all. Also gotta say locking Geese behind DLC hurts SNK. Hurts me a lot. Probably the best new fighting game in the last few years though, good work SNK.

Will be better with Kim but overall pretty solid and fun KOF all things considered.
The best modern KOF online, I recommend it with my heart bleeding from receiving the endless orochi yashiro súper grab that I know by memory. If you are new to KOF, this game is the best starting point in terms of Modern standard in fighting games.

- Boss challenge está buena la idea, pero se siente vacío comparado con anteriores KOF (especialmente KOF XI y los Um's).
- Desbloqueando Dj station fue tedioso, pero la recompensa fue buena.
- DJ Station solo para menu, online y versus. Pero no para Story mode o Boss challenge.
- El tutorial sigue siendo corto y no te prepara para él online (a menos que solo uses auto combos) comparados con otros juegos de pelea que tienen tutoriales desde un nivel supernovato hasta un nivel intermedio o avanzado.
-No hay muchos trajes para los personajes, los hacen ver más vacíos comparados con los personajes que sí reciben trajes.
Con todo esto recomiendo este juego igual por él online y la jugabilidad.

Just logging this as something I saw credits on. The credit sequence is actually super rad, looks like it was inspired by something you'd see at the end of a movie.
I know this is all personal taste and what have you, but I've always felt "at home" with KOF even if my skill with the game has never really been especially high. Aesthetic, character design, music all A+ work and the game's mechanics are easy enough to understand but hint at some real depth.

That, and I've noticed some stages tend to have some strange lag/other issues online despite both players having no issue running the same stages/conditions offline. Praise be to SNK for giving us rollback, because the fair majority of matches have been smooth, but they can have the other star back from me once more of these issues get ironed out.

É um KOF muito acessível pra novos jogadores, possui personagens muito queridos da saga e basicamente marca o recomeço da franquia. Ele é de certa forma equilibrado e o modo história é BEM simples, mas em questão de gameplay é um dos mais divertidos.
Única coisa que faltou foi inovar em algum aspecto ou fazer algum tipo de evolução, mas se comparado com o seu antecessor, ele é uma adição bem sólida.

I've played other KOF games in the past but this is the first one that I decided to actually learn and its absolutely fantastic. Terry is my dad.
I love king of fighters i think the roster is really cool and fun and I rlly enjoy picking three characters for my ass kicking entrouge. I think this one is kinda weird with its reasoning for some of the characters being back but otherwise its the best looking a 3d kof has ever looked in my opinion

KOFXV is an amazing fighting game1 with an impeccable roster of unique fighters with badass super moves and Climax moves. The characters are vast and feature characters from the history of King of Fighters, as well as Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury. The models are high quality and very artistic in its style and design. The male characters look badass and muscular, while the females look badass, sexy, and cute. The story mode is a classic arcade style story, where you choose 3 members for a team (depending on which 3 are paired based on the roster is who's story you'll go through, with the most important being Isla and Shun'eis being the most important in terms of what happens. The game is a very japanese esk fighter but features a vast amount of diversity among the cast. The game is my second king of fighters and i have to say it was a very amazing and awesome experience. If you were a little unsure about this series of Fighting games, i absolutely recommend it. 😁❤️
