Watched Game Grumps play but I don't think they finished:^(

Not as good as JSRF but is okay.

A game that oozes style with fun, though somewhat difficult to control gameplay.

I like to believe this was the inspiration for the rail grinding in Adventure 2

I can't rank it right now because I want to get further in but my game won't save (PC version, but it's the same game as Dreamcast so yeah)

gameplay bastante soso, a la hora t dormís jugando, buen soundtrack eso si.

Treats you like a baby for far too long, but when the game allows you to run around neighborhoods and dodge cops while tagging spots it’s tooooooo good

Ah, Jet Set Radio. I've seen it happen time and time again. People get interested in this game due to it's wonderfully timeless aesthetic, then can't stomach the actual gameplay. I was part of that crowd as well for the longest time before eventually buckling down and finishing it. While the controls are definitely floaty and imprecise, and the camera doesn't help tell you where you are going to land for certain important jumps, the game is still rather playable. Despite the control issues, I still love this game. I think it goes to show how important aesthetic really is in video games that this game remains ever loved so many decades later even after segas long years of neglect. And I think this game is absolutely still worth giving a shot, even if there's a likely chance you as well will fall into the same trap. The vibes are too strong for this to be anything other than a heavy rec.

Has a bunch of weird little quibbles - the pointless time limit, the stinginess of spray cans on certain stages, stricter collision detection for grinding - that hold it back, but it has such a clarity of vision that when they made Future two years later, they kept the structure, story, and core gameplay loop essentially the same.

A fantastic platformer full of style and fresh ideas, only brought down by some clunky movement and aggressive police.

BEST OST. And the gameplay is very very solid as well. BUT THAT SOUNDTRACK

jump around jump around jump around now
jump up jump up and get down

Always felt pretty guilty for not really appreciating this as much as others. The cell shaded look was extremely cool and the music felt fresh but I just wasn't getting any satisfaction from how it actually played.

LIKE THIS LIKE THAT LIKE THIS THIS LIKE THAT

hideki naganuma makes this game 5 stars

hell yeah shoutout to cube from jet set radio

really fun game: the dreamcast version is just as good as the HD ports. controls and mnechanics are kinda jank and haven't aged very well and can get hard to play/get into if you aren't intrested. still very fun and awesome game

It's fun just the time limit on each stage kill the flow for me.

A soundtrack é maravilhosa

Apenas jogue, você só vai sofrer de leves caso queira fazer 100% disso.

leva um tempo pra se acostumar com os controles mas o visual e a música n tem jeito mt foda

JET SET RADIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The controls are bad. It's charming enough to look past that most of the time.

I was one of many in the boat of wanting to try it out but struggling to get past the controls. Still, it's such a cool concept and I would love to see this series make some kind of return.
