All-around improvement of MP1, with some nice additions thrown in. I like the board-specific outfits everyone wears and the endgame cutscenes with the 1st place person. Decent selection of minigames and they brought back the good ones as well. I do miss the MP1 jank though and item minigames are boring and time-consuming.
The closest Mario Party ever got to godliness. Less of the minigames are designed to kill you IRL, items and shops add more depth, the boards are well made, and the little cutscenes to reveal the winner are cute.

This is the one my SO always wants to play, so I'm very attached to it. However, you can't play as Toad, so it's horrifically flawed.

Really good game. I haven't played the other 64 ones so much, but this one bangs.
Mario Party at its best, including the maximum amount of ways to get players to fight each other.
Takes all of the things that worked in the first game and removes all of the asshole things.

I actively love the Mario Party series more than I should and this is one of the best in the series! I played this growing up on Wii Virtual Console and I absolutely love dragging my friends now into this hellscape of a party!
O MELHOR MARIO PARTY JÁ FEITO NA HISTÓRIA! Os minigames são incríveis, os tabuleiros são ótimos, o modo de minigame é legal, é pura diversão e destruição de amizades. E os personagens tem roupinha de cowboy.

it's mario party. but again. make sure you bring some other people with you if you want to tackle all this game has to offer; theres no dedicated single player campaign, and doing regular mario party rounds by yourself is really sad and lonely. other than that, this is pretty much mario party 1 again, except with a lot less chance time and palm blisters. If you like physical pain, I think mario party 1 is a better pick than this, but honestly both this and the first are equally worth checking out.
