I absolutely LOVE this trilogy. I highly recommend these epic games.

That's how you get perfection. Still waiting for a Switch HD port, guys.

bad controls for the first two games, bad menus

Completed the first two games, not the 3rd one. Will try again once Metroid Prime 4 has a more definite release window.

Prime 1: Heck of a time... love Metroid now

Prime 3: Started in late July but didn't finish it before I left for uni. Finished a few days after returning for winter break that year.

nintendo
if you fuck the port to the switch
im going to fuck you up

Damn I love video games

only played through the original so far; I want to get to the sequels. it is still astounding. I was so happy to finally beat it after all of these years!

The ultimate trilogy, with improved graphics (HD ports) and new wii controls. Nothing to say other than, well, it’s a trilogy of some of the best games for gamecube and wii. And it’s metroid prime. You can’t go wrong.

It's truly the prime of Metroid... three times

Play this with PrimeHack and you have the greatest set of 3d adventure games ever

sometimes video games are good

i regularly play all 3 games at once in a week whenever im bored

78% completion. Checked all the obvious odd spots before completing.

PLEASE PUT THIS ON THE SWITCH

Simply put, this is the best collection of games you can get on the Wii. It’s got 3 large games and tons of extras which allows for replayability. Definitely the best way to play these games.

An amazing trilogy in which I haven't finished but am looking forward to picking up in the future again. Has nice 3D set pieces for Metroid and lets the transition to 3D be smooth as hell.

it came in a steel case so that makes it good

I just know i will like it, but really cant get my hands on the Wii controls...

I don't think Metroidvanias are for me. The constant backtracking is extremely tedious and going through the same 3 areas gets a bit draining. On a more positive note, the game has a fantastic soundtrack (especially tallon overworld), The boss fights are very good for the most part, and the atmosphere is great. I would totally recommend these games for anyone who likes metroidvanias. Might pick these back up later on, maybe when prime 4 comes out.

Good fun. People seem to dislike 3 the most but it’s the only one I didn’t need a walkthrough to navigate. I never use walkthroughs but 3d Metroid is hard to navigate and the map is hard to look at. Very fun other than that.
