With 50 hours into the game now, I can say this is an okay entry in the series. Gameplay wise it’s fantastic. My career in my opinion is great…. Until you have to do the main story and then it’s a long drag. Online multiplayer seems a bit better this year as I found it wasn’t as laggy during games but it could still use improvement especially with SBMM. Gameplay wise loved it, story wise it absolutely sucked. Last years story was way more interesting. MyTeam is the exact same tbh and Jordan challenge is cool I guess (not my kind of mode but that’s okay). 3/5 for me

was really hoping for at least a few changes in 2k23, but nothing new came to the PC port other than new bugs and a mediocre roster update. smh.

the story is very lacking compared to the predecessors

every quest: go talk, play game, go talk

I don't have experience with other 2K games so to me this is pretty solid, but I'm also ass at it. Nikola Jokic is cool.

for a while I had this rated low cause I hate 2k and how lazy they are with their games, but at this point I have almost 175 hours I can't lie it's just good regardless

It’s a horrible game on the switch.

I give this game a 3 star rating because some parts of the game I love while others I hate.I love myteam yes there is micro transactions but you don’t have to spend money to have a good team you just have to grind. My career is horrible because you either have to spend 200 dollars or grind hours and hours to max out a build. One mode I love playing is my nba eras you get to pick a nba team from either the modern era of the nba or 3 other eras that allows you to go back in time and pick a team from that time and you get to rebuild the team and make trades and draft and win championships it’s a lot of fun.A problem with this game is that it is you green your shot or you miss which makes shooting hard which makes the play style of the game running to the rim and dunking or mashing with tall players which makes short players in myteam unable to be used.

Same old thing, but the actual basketball gameplay was actually improved. The whole MyCity thing, however, is such a waste of gameplay as it adds little to no particular value to the basketball experience that you are trying to get from this game.

locking the new mynba content to the new console generation wa a huge blow to the little community this mode already had. The shooting mechanics got even worse with this entry, which i didn't even thought was possible.

I play these games an unhealthy amount. Out of all the games I play, every year, 2k is the most time played. Yet outside of Madden, the NBA2K franchise is my lowest reviewed franchise by far.

All that being said, this year for once I felt that my 60/70 dollar purchase was worth it. I don't know how long its been since I could say that for a sports game.

My career and the city is the WORST its ever been in 2k23. Its unplayable GARBAGE. Yet this is still my favorite 2k in years. Ignoring that horrendous mode, MyTeam almost had its best year to date. Had they just not done out of position players so people have 20ft tall lineups, it would have been the best. It was for once a great experience for someone who never buys micro transactions. MyLeague, though not changed much at all, was still great and had far less bugs in my experience. The OFFLINE gameplay quite easily was the best its ever been.

reason it is not higher than 3 stars:
- My Career/City is an embarrassment to game development
- Out of position hurt myteam
- absurd micro transactions as present as ever
- online gameplay is clunky
- did I mention how bad my career and the city is?

to be honest. This is my very first 2k game and it sucks and wins in both.
Playing just a match between you and your friends - sure. Fun, Charming, whatever you wanna call it.
Afterwards tried the other game modes, mycareer, quick matches and so on. I don't know when an AAA game felt so 2010.
The graphics look the same as I saw on the 2k12th game. realisticness despite playing the matches sucks. The story mode in my career dialogs are good, but the characters and the underworked textures made it feel just bad. Maybe I was expecting too much, but comparing it to FIFA - such an underdog this game is.

I spent way too much time on this game brah

Aynen kanka devam yeni nesil çıkmasın pc ye 2k22 nin aynısı grafikleri değişmiş oda ayıp olmasın diye ps5 iniz yoksa mypark için alınabilir sadece.

I still love playing the actual basketball in this game and like most years, that aspect is still well honed. And look, I'll gladly eat up the aesthetic stuff added for the MyEras and the Jordan Challenge. It just bothers me that after touting how efficient their load times had gotten in the prior two entries, there's definite wait times now. What happened?

originally played ps4 version ... 5/10

finally got a ps5 version and this game just feels so much better (especially my career) ... 8/10
- BEST 2K SINCE 17 PPL JUST WANT TO KEEP HATING ON 2K

Craig Friday is the greatest rookie the league has ever and will ever see. Rookie of the Year. All NBA First Team. All Defense First Team. Finals CHAMP. FINALS MVP.

More of the same, some minor improvements, some changes for the sake of change. Overall better than 2K22 for sure! The weird shot timing seems to have been fixed, MYCAREER is marginally more interesting. My main issue is the performance when not actually playing basketball. Every other mode is locked to 30FPS, and you're lucky to be hitting even 20 when walking around the city. Game runs and looks like ass. Thank god this game was free.

MyTeam was so much fun and MyCareer was also fun.

Compralo solo si eres fan del Baloncesto y la NBA.

Better than 2K17-2k21. MyLeague is immersive with the whole "decade" modes. Other than that, don't play the game. 6'7 Power Forward meta ruins it.

It was a good 2k. I am still upset with how 2k changed the dribble moves with the right stick back on 2k21. It was way better before as the dribble moves coincided with the direction the stick was moved. Now it seems like the dribble moves got simplified. More so about a video game set up for dribble moves rather than a basketball focused one. Shooting in the game also seemed much move difficult than previous games. I think that largely came down to the shot meter which never looked great. Apart from those two complaints, I enjoyed the time I spent with the game. I retired the game because I find myself just waiting to get ahold of Wembanyama in 2k24. Hopefully 2k24 can continue the great simulation style individual game modes created for 2k23.

Could've been great. Wish PC had next gen. Offline modes are so good but the online modes are fuckin terrrible

another pay to win 2k. mycareer just isnt fun when you need to pay to actually do anything. only played myleague most of the time because its actually enjoyable

I wish you could shoot the ball effectively in this game

E divertido mas a empresa e muito mercenária meu deus
