I'm still waiting for this to get remastered and released the arcade version was the only reason to be in your 20's and take your nephew to Chuck E Cheese
the 360 version is terrific

This and OutRun 2006 represent the last great era for the Sega prestige arcade experience.

The sense of speed on display is like no other.
This game has that addictive loop of "every run, you unlock a new modifier that makes the game easier."
A fantastic ride with FANTASTIC music and unbelievably corny voice acting- but it all just WORKS.

It's just a fun videogame where everything about it is fun. It's fun to look at, listen to, and play.

A very decent modern follow-up to the arcade classic. Short campaign but that is not what we're here for. Scoring is a lot of fun once you figure out the best strategies.

Decent enough rails shooter, controls are in the middle of arcadey & flight sim instead of just picking one.

The remix of the main theme is a little weak compared to the rest of the ost, but game's fine

I had infinite credits and this machine had a moving and vibrating seat
safe to say I had a lot of fun

played this on RPCS3 and I had a blast

Uma delícia de jogo. Uma pena ser curto demais.

I wish we could get another After Burner

A perfect update to After Burner, with spectacular (and more legible) 3D graphics and a branching-paths campaign that unlocks bonuses and QoL features as you complete objectives. The sense of speed and screaming intensity are unmatched. Sega please port it

This experience convinced me to go buy a flight joystick

oh yeah. this is the good stuff. Never really could super get into the original after burner due to the game being kind of hard to read in terms of what's going on because you are going so fast, but this game is designed in a way so the action is more clear on screen. Theres even a meter you can use to both slow down time and have infinite missiles if things get too hectic, which functions well both as a fun gameplay mechanic and as a way to make the game more clear. The sense of speed in the game is INSANE as well, you ZOOM in that plane which is part of the after burner experience IMO. game sounds cool right? well too bad, it's delisted, hope you bought it already.

Played this at an arcade place in town with unlimited credits and of course had a blast with the rotating and vibrating cabinet. The game is packed full of action and offers branching paths to add variety and some replay value.

I played this a long time ago. It sucks to see it delisted.

Best After Burner game to date. Branching paths add a lot of replayability, as does the choice of fighter jet. Just wish that it was easier to play this game in the modern day. Got my copy from a GAME near me which still had codes until late 2017 when they cleared PS3 off their system.

Sad that an updated port with the licensed bits shamelessly removed can't exist nowadays, but if you can somehow get your hands on it then it's a fantastic time.
