Maybe it's just me, but some "cozy/wholesome" games can feel quite exhausting, It just feels patronizing having stuff that not only is pretty simple and filled with friendliness, but just bends over backwards to make sure everyone is having a comfortable time, everybody loves you and also gives you their preferred pronouns and nobody ever gets mad at you, I get it, some people really get into this stuff but stuff like this always reminds me of being a kid and feeling like my intelligence was insulted because people will spend far too long treating like you can't walk 5 ft without falling on your face, so this ends up just feeling like an exploration game where if you ever sprain your ankle, you'll get a band-aid and a juicebox.

It's not a bad game though, the art is cute and the characters are a bit interesting, even if all of the ones that are clearly in their teens to 30s are the same design but with a different style of clothes that could be interchangeable between all of them, and all of the kids are like, kids show shallow, where their only goals in life are to say hi to friends and ask someone to get their ball for them.

The game is a nice time-sink if you don't mind these kinds of atmospheres, but it just drains me.

A cute, chill little game about a shopping trip. Only taking off half a star because it crashed a couple of times for me.

Theres a lot of games that aim for that 'Cozy' vibe but never really hit the mark, maybe the writing isnt very good, maybe they ask you to do too much busywork to get to where you want to be, maybe their message is muddled via control issues or through elements that dont fit.

This? This nails that vibe perfectly. A neat little calm shopping trip, filled with fun characters, exploration aplenty and neat little things here and there, be it conversations you didnt know you could have, phone numbers to dial, secrets to collect and friends to make.

Its all a very peaceful and rewarding little experience that ticks all the correct boxes. Is it on the short side? Sure.... But honestly I wouldnt have it any other way.

A lovely little game about a kid's first time doing shopping, and maybe even do a little explorin'.

Co-open is a very cozy and comforting game, with a generally warm atmosphere to it all, be it through the visuals, the music, or the characters. While the goal is to pick up whatever you want and take it to the counter for purchasing (this can be done at any time and is the only way to reach the ending), you're subtly encouraged to explore the rest of the store and whatever areas are available to you, while talking to and maybe even helping out different characters you meet. Most of the characters actually already know you in some way or another, so there's always a sense of familiarity with them, and they're also just generally pleasant people to talk to.

Further encouragement for interaction is given through collectibles: helping out characters gets you a collectible from them ( they're very neat and cute~) and you can also find different numbers scattered around in the store, even on items you have in your pockets or the collectibles; these are phone numbers, which after calling them get added to your phonebook. Doing all of these were really fun, a lot of them felt like little puzzles and encouraged you to observe and find any secrets you can in the store.

I don't really have any complaints honestly, so I'm going to just gush more about the things I really liked from the game

I'm fond of going to the mall every now and then, so looking through all the available things to purchase and their descriptions felt very familiar and comforting in a way lol. The cats were also really cute (but got kind of scarily big if you fed them too much).

It's hard to pick a favourite location, I really liked all of them, but I'd say the library park was my favourite. The cool autumn weather could really be felt here, it was generally a pleasantly structured place, it has my favourite characters out of them all, and it has my favourite track of the game for sure. I will say though, the most fun I had exploring were the vents, and the cold storage area (which was more like a mini snow park really).

On that note, the staircase, forbidden garden and vents do feel kind of creepy to be in. I think its more to do with the music, I like the vibe though, keeps it distinct.

Grandma is awesome and cool.

Overall, pretty short game, I'd definitely recommend if you wanna just have a cozy warm time.

cute little wander game/muse-um-up with just enough puzzling & secrets to compel you along, and some genuinely lovely reveals.

second-best grocery shopping sim in the queer bundle

A cute little simple wholesome game; though there's a bit more to it as well which was fun to explore.

Ahhh this game is so cute and delightful!! You're just a little kid walking around and talking to all the nice people shopping at this local store :, it's so sweet and theres a good amount of stuff to do. Very queer as well I can't recommend this one enough <3 The eastern european setting is something that stuck out to me as well and was really cool to see

Very charming game with very cute characters. Well-written, fun dialog. It's fun to step into the shoes of a kid on an adventure for a while.

Chill and good vibes. Pretty fun when you realise all the places that can be explored. But, I soon grew tired when I realised there wasn't much of interest to find.

A lovely little game with plenty of heart and a penchant for coaxing out your childlike curiosity. A very warm and safe atmostphere permeates the entire experience and it is a lovely way to take a break.

You can beat this "game" in 15 seconds.

dis game is really nice and cozy, you just go shopping and maybe do a lil exploring

What initially presents as a twee grocery adventure unfurls into something far stranger and more expansive. Discovering what's hiding in the vents is a joy. Makes me wonder what my supermarket is hiding...
