Gunpoint despite it's rather silly name; is a breath of fresh air on the stealth genre, with a unique premise and mechanic, which keeps evolving keeping the game interesting. While the game is short, the level editor is quite well designed and should offer tons of replay-ability. Gunpoint is a puzzle game, and a stealth game, it's also two dimensional, but I found the variety of solutions to various puzzles to be anything but.
Definitely worth the money, if you're into this sort of thing :3

Gunpoint is almost always funny and surprisingly chock-full of corporate intrigue. Or... not surprisingly, considering that most of the levels revolve around infiltrating offices and tech labs. The circuit puzzles threw me for a loop at times, but they were quite satisfying to solve in the end. The game was shorter than I expected, but if anything that made it all the more impactful. Both in narrative and the fact that you get to kick down doors.
A 'boutique' game. Tom Francis' vision for a Deus-Ex inspired corporate espionage/murder mystery/hacking game doesn't overstay its welcome. The soundtrack is an absolute banger of techno-jazz and the writing is also a real highlight, full of silliness reminiscent of Airplane! and The Naked Gun. The only downside is the game's length; clocking in around 3 hours for any% and about 7 hours for 100% achievements and max level score, the game is over before it really feels like the mechanics are fully realized.
A cool little game to play. It features a neat story and interesting mechanics. It is definitely more of a puzzle game than a stealth game at times, but I still found that to be cool. The AI are easily exploitable, hence the nature of it being a puzzle game. There are a lot of cool mechanics that interleave nicely. Overall, pretty good game. Oh, also there is workshop content too.
Incredible soundtrack aside, Gunpoint is a solid puzzle game with attitude, sense of humor and different endings depending on what kind of crimes investigation you commit during the gameplay. Gameplay is fast, quick and immediate, even though it's on the easy side. For a time it had a thriving level design community, not unlike Hotline Miami, and you can still try and visit the community hubs, but you can see it's been 10 years since the game came out.
If you main Big Band this game is for you. It looks stylish, it sounds stylish and it will leave an impact on you years after, listening to its soundtrack and reminiscing.

Gunpoint is an amazing stealth puzzle game. The missions are entertaining and can be completed in a couple of minutes, keeping gameplay fast-paced and engaging.
The conversations throughout the game are fit the overall tone perfectly and have a bit of humour here and there. The gadgets and abilities of the character are a blast to use, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the gameplay.
One of the standout features of Gunpoint is its simplicity. There are no unnecessary bells and whistles, allowing players to fully grasp the mechanics within the first few minutes of playing. From there, it's up to you to decide how stealthy, violent, or mischievous you want to be. The mechanics all work flawlessly, and when you make a mistake, it's immediately noticeable, giving you the chance to correct it and improve your performance.
The story about proving your innocence and find the real killer is not particularly original, but fits the game's setting. However, the thread surrounding two weapons manufacturers can be easily lost, although there is some sort of summary before the last few missions.
Despite this, the short playing time of the levels gives them a high replay value, even if the solutions don't differ significantly. Additionally, the soundtrack is amazing, enhancing the overall experience.
There are a couple of downsides to the game. The socket sound effect is way too loud, if you don't turn down sound effects to like 10 percent in the settings menu, which then makes other sound effects a bit too silent. Additionally, the game's duration of a little over two hours in relation to its price of 7€ could be a potential turn-off for some players.
Overall, Gunpoint is a fantastic stealth puzzle game, you might prefer to buy when it is on sale.
With its short playing time, it can be completed in just one evening or whenever you have the time.
