Simple and fun puzzle game that's free 2 play. I had fun with it.

I'd rather be playing Tetris, Puyo Puyo, Lumines, Meteos, or one of the many other puzzle games out there that are better than this.

too dumb and young to enjoy it

I played this every day for a couple years on MSN. I played it again on the Xbox 360 but it wasn't the same.

one of those games that u never think about, but then get instant nostalgia once it starts up. not the greatest puzzle game ever, but it's fun play in short bursts. oh, and the music is tight.

it's just fine, good for a five-ten minute break

6/10

Man i was bored if I ever loaded this up on a weekend.

aw yeah dude i loved hexic me and my buddies were briefly obsessed with beating each others scores like we were playin a real video game or something

Came bundled with my Xbox 360. A light puzzle game akin to Bejeweled without much to set it apart. Slightly addicting but in that "I have nothing else to do" kind of way.

This game sucked, but the music was memorable.

everyone has hexic dipshit it came free with your xbox

Amazing to discover as a kid, while shopping around your xbox, later slowly realizing this game is geniunely boring and has the creepiest music for a puzzle game, really its a novelty and that's about it lol.

The music in this is fucking scary.

some guy wrote a review on rateyourmusic about how he smoked weed and played this while listening to bjork and honestly i have been chasing that lifestyle ever since

This game gets really interesting if you're aiming to create black pearls from the white flowers. The concept it's not fully developed imo, but also nobody has make it better except maybe Bejeweled, so this is obviously much better than candyCrush-likes

I need this game ported on every platform known to man. Hexic HD has not gotten its proper flowers, it should be held as a classic purely for its soundtrack, let alone the gameplay and atmosphere

Unlike Tetris, it feels like you're rarely, if ever, making substantial moves. The skill ceiling for meaningful play is significantly higher here though. It feels like you're just fucked later down the line if you don't form any "flowers" early in a game, because once you're in the later levels, the amount of different colored pieces you have to deal with makes that nigh impossible. Those flower pieces can be used for more accurate piece movement (if you're good at the game), so not having access to one late in a game limits your ability to do much of anything. Also, why is the music so haunting? It sounds like Zero has me trapped in an escape room, and the only way to leave is to match a black pearl flower. I think I'm gonna die here, please help

This game only exists when you're really bored so it's just a "why not"

I sank countless hours into this game back in the day, but couldn't tell you a single thing about it. I can infer from the box art that it was a puzzle game, and it was apparently in high definition. That's it. That's all I got. I must have had fun though so 3 stars I guess?

Fun timewaster for me back in September last year

I wish I could review the Zune version because that is the one I played most.

i was oddly into this a a kid, not a bad game to revisit from time to time.

one of my first xb360 games, it's a mobile game basically and a bad one

xbox arcade game who cares

A fun puzzle game, i spent hours on it as a child.
