One of the best UI I've ever seen in Kirby and also a much better improvement over Super Kirby Clash. It's basically that but without all the F2P bullshit.

Btw this is one of the few Kirby Switch games that runs at 60fps.

Gooey is playable in it, so it's all right with me. It kind of renders Kirby Fighters Deluxe on 3DS completely obsolete though—that entire game is in it.

the games pretty fun. there are lots of different kirbys to play as and the roguelite tower story mode is pretty cool. the marketing was terrible for this though and they just kind of shadow dropped it amongst super mario 3d all stars. good game if you have some friends around who like kirby

Meta Knight and King Dedede was not a ship I was expecting to support but here I am

Very fun game! loved being able to fight alongside best blob gooey :)

I am kirby's strongest soldier (king dedede and meta knight are gay look it up)

THIS GAME IS RIDICULOUSLY FUN I LOVE IT

Fun Kirby Smash style fighting game. More characters/abilities than expected (although most are obviously Kirby) and a few classic friends.

It sure is a sequal to Kirby Fighters on the Nintendo 3DS. I do find this game fun, but there are limitations to being an eshop only game

They really know how to make a better sequels also Kirby doesnt know how to read thats funny

Such a shame that it died on arrival.

its ok but it lacks the charm the original did

Fun little fighting game, but you should just play Smash if you do not absolutely adore Kirby.

I like Kirby, but this isn’t that fun of a game. Unlike the game like this one but on the ds. 3/10

wrestler is one of the most fun abilities ever and the story is a pretty fun rouge like mode. that 5 minute dedede and meta knight kissing scene is was a surprising and necessary thing to close the story.

Kirby Fighters Deluxe was already a pretty inspired move, backporting Smash Bros. conventions into modern Kirby's engine, so it's neat to see what all that looks like expanded. Some of the more fun movesets from Star Allies have been nerfed - probably a necessity for competitive balance, but I do miss Bandee's rapid-fire spear toss. Most of the game assets are pulled together from Star Allies or Fighters Deluxe, so this is more a refining of ideas, plus Wrestler Kirby (always a fan of grappler abilities). The highlight for me is definitely the story mode, and more specifically its nature as a rogue-lite. This isn't the first game that's done this - I know at least Soul Calibur III experimented with this mechanic - but it's always neat to see. I like the mental exercise that goes into thinking through builds to best complement your chosen moveset, trying to play the odds with upgrades and deciding if you want to go for a strong upgrade NOW or take a rarer niche upgrade and hope you'll see plenty more of that strong upgrade down the line. And it's a little thing, but I'm glad to see Meta Knight and Dedede's friendship built upon - that's such an unexplored character dynamic for this series.

You can play as Magolor, automatically making this game worth the entry fee.

Fun game, but just super smash bros with gooey.

wished more people played it online

fun little fighting game, enough abilities and content to keep you going a few hours but I don't know if it's a "good fighting game"

I had played the first game a lot on the 3DS and I gotta say for a Smash-like game just dealing with Kirby it was decently fun game to kill time with when you had a minute or two. This game, feels much more complete, it feels so much bigger in scope than the original.

I thought when I first saw the game that it was just an extension of the first game so I didn't play it too much mind, but after starting the game and seeing the new design of Kirby, I instantly noticed that some love and care was really put into this game.

The basics of combat hadn't changed much, if you played Smash Bros or the first game or any recent Kirby game, the controls are pretty simple and every ability plays like it had in the past with a little more extra. Items to use during fights, take down the other Kirby's health, same old same old stuff.

Where this game REALLY shines in my eyes goes in two ways. The story mode is based on a buddy system where you takes a buddy with you through a fighting tower. This can be done with a CPU (who is actually pretty smart and semi aggressive) or you can take a second player with you. I took an AI and had a ball with the game, though I won't say it's easy by a long shot...it gets rough, due to the game following a rogue-like feeling of getting power-ups at the end of battle to strengthen yourself how you like, but the enemies do get levels and do grow stronger and will adjust when needed.

The second part of the game is the story itself, if you're a fan of Kirby, the characters and bosses are given quite a lot of personality which I won't spoil here, but it definitely was fun to play through each of the story parts.

The music is actually REALLY good, a lot of familiar themes you've heard from past games mixed in with remixes that I'm almost 100% was just for this game and they sound awesome.

Honestly I can't think of anything wrong with the game other than, I feel the Story Mode should have been online 2 player and I don't understand why they didn't advertise this game more, I remember the first day the trailer came out, it was a few days before it released and the most advertising it got after that was featured in Tetris 99 also it being digital only doesn't help either...that aside an amazing gem.

a sequel to the eShop title that was an enhanced rerelease of a mini game in Kirby Triple Deluxe, except this time it's actually feels like a full fledged fighting game, not much to get into without getting technical but I do think this is worth the 15 bucks it's asking for, give it a try if you ever feel like it, also Gooey is in it and that's always a plus

Definitely a fighting game. Not a good one, however.

So uh yeah, it exists and it's fine, but dead.

A Kirby fighting game is such a neat idea, and a perfect compliment to the depth of each Copy Ability. The problem is that Kirby moves too slow to make fighting each other actually feel fun.
