this was overall a solid time! the general idea and overall style/vibe of the game is very solid and unique, but it doesn't evolve much beyond what you experience in the first few levels. it gets pretty difficult by the end too! there aren't a lot of games i had never really heard of that were added to the NSO online apps, but this was that and i was pleasantly surprised! excited to try out the other games in this series.
The kind of thing I would have never sought out to play on its own but since it's on Nintendo Switch Online, I played it. Almost kind of the perfect game for that service, in a way. Levels are fun to navigate and have a good sense flow at least until the later stages which become more maze-based and not as enjoyable. A quintiessential bathroom game.
There's not much depth to discover in Kuru Kuru Kururin. While I had some fun figuring the angles and timing to get around some corners, there's little variation between areas. It strikes me as a brightly-colored version of a toy parents give their kids when they hope they'll become engineers - how do you fit a straight line into a curve? Now do that a few hundred times. The frame of a bird flying a rotorcraft is cute, though, I'll give it that.
Both this game and Gargoyle's Quest I played on recommendation from Transparency. I had heard of this game before but had never had occasion to play it due to it not being released in North America.
Much like the game itself, I'll keep this short and sweet. I had a lot of fun "solving" each stage, though I wasn't terribly concerned with "perfect" runs or getting the fastest time. I could see myself going back to this now and again.

Good fun. I'm not sure I'd have had the patience for this back in the olden days when it first came out. I never bought it because I wasn't that much into handhelds back then. I did have a GBA but that was partly down to the GameCube functionality and maybe one or two other games.
But this was good fun. Great pick up and play stuff. I don't think I'd be too good at the higher difficulty though. Small stick was tough enough at times.
I hope we get more little treats like this on the GBA nso app.

Adventure:
I wasn't expecting a story TBH but it's aight. I think it gives value to collecting optional collectables. It's short but a bit challenging. Perfect as a small game to challenge your precision skills.
Versus:
This can be pretty hard at max difficulty but with average settings it's actually a pretty solid experience. I had fun playing with my boyfriend.
