I don't remember too much about this game but it was pretty fun for what it was. I think my mind may had been a bit too underdeveloped to fully grasp what this game was supposed to be but I had fun with it. Nice little platforming game that allows you to unleash your imagination and create whatever worlds/experiences you want. Heavy stress on user created experiences which was honestly really awesome and a smart utilization of the PSP's network feature. One of the few PSP games I played.
pretty much LBP1 except toned down. not a lot of online connectivity making the whole user-created appeal of the main games relatively moot. Consider this the "Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS" of the littlebigplanet universe. there is a single player to earn items for your own levels but without the ability to freely share your creations, or play online with friends, there's not much of a point imo. LBP games are more about the community than the campaign, so this game focusing on the latter more is just kinda eh.
Okay I was a bit harsh on this game actually
The story kind of blows and it definitely does feel like a downgraded LBP 1 but it's still really fun, the level creator is good and the soundtrack is the usual LittleBigPlanet soundtrack in the sense that it's really good. It's definitely forgettable in the grand scheme of the franchise but if there was an alternate universe where this was the only game with the LittleBigPlanet title I'd still really like it.
the bazaar world was kind of bad though

* PLAYED ON A VITA *
As far as LittleBigPlanet games go this does the job and that’s the most I can say about it, I really don’t know why anyone would wanna play this version aside from being nostalgic for it or lacking a PS3/Vita. It’s purely just a watered down version of LBP1 and while I can respect it for having its own create mode and story, they are inferior to other ones in the franchise. I messed around with the level creator for a bit and it really was not very good.
The story retains the charm LBP is known for along with having a pretty banger soundtrack but you can definitely tell it’s a PSP game, the physics are horrible even compared to LittleBigPlanet 1, and I know comparing this to LBPVita is pretty unfair but it just shocks me how much better that game is. I think if Media Molecule took their time and maybe released this around ~2010 instead of 9 it would’ve been a much better game but as it is it’s just an inferior LBP1 on the go
