There's something about games where you have to destroy everything that's so satisfying for me. Lumbearjack reminded me of Katamari and Donut County; I loved it. A chill, cute little adventure.

A quick little 3d adventure where you play as a bear that is also a lumberjack who is cutting down all of the local man made contraptions to reclaim his land. The game doesn't demand too much from you and has a "my first game" vibe to it but it does have a lot of personality. Sort of like a playable kids cartoon show, in a way.

The game is very cute and has a lot of personality. You destroy all the contraptions/buildings in a level with your axe and with the help of your woodland friends (like standing on a swimming turtle to reach certain objects, or escorting your porcupine friend through a structure as he knocks things down for you to destroy).

However, the gameplay itself is a bit limited. There are basically 2 kinds of levels. One where you destroy items around the environment, collect the debris and upgrade your axe that will help you destroy the bigger items.

The other type of level has you sporting a tennis racket and you use the physics in the world to bounce bombs around to destroy everything around you.

Both are a lot of fun at first but once you get through a couple levels, it feels very redundant. They do try to keep things fresh with new environments and new buildings/contraptions to destroy, but it would’ve been nice to have at least one more mechanic to spice things up a bit.

I think this will be a great first game for my son once he starts getting into gaming more. I think adults, especially if you're turned off by cutesy characters, will be looking for more than what this has to offer.

me bear with axe, me slap people...not with axe

El concepto es muy cuco, pero lamentablemente no sostiene lo que viene siendo pulsar A sin más ante todo lo que se te ponga por delante, lo cual se hace repetitivo bastante rápido.

An evening's worth of righteous vandalism, cute animals, and light puzzling, that's good by me.

A very fun simple game that knows exactly what it wants to do and sets out to do it, however it's incredibly short, far far too short, I want way more out of the game that I got, for £10 and only 2 hours of gameplay that wasn't enough.

You control a massive, hulking, axe-wielding figure who stalks his prey through the woods, obliterating everything he encounters and attacking anyone unfortunate enough to be in his path, just slamming his mighty paws into their faces, with the end goal of each level being to acquire a massive chainsaw to augment your destructive capabilities

But like, in a wholesome way

A great, short game, that has a great atmosphere, design, and a lot of little funny details. Not sure if I'd pay full price, but if on sale for under $10 , I highley recomend.

A relaxing, short, charming game with a positive message. You play as an anthropomorphic bear with an axe placed in a confined 3D diorama setting. By destroying human items and structures that are encroaching on your habitat, you collect debris that can be used to upgrade your axe. The game's controls are very simple; just the left stick to move the bear, the right stick controls the camera and the action button can be held down to swing your axe. While basic, there's something very cathartic about clearing each map. The game also rewards you with costumes and short animations featuring the woodland creatures you help on your journey to clear the forest of foreign matter. Some may find it overly simple, but I found its gameplay loop addictively soothing. Worth buying on sale.

This clicker game is essentially a joke of a gameplay concept stretched to the length of a movie, but it is satisfyingly funny. You are a bear, and use your axe to destroy the logging company invading your forest. Once all the Evil Corp machinery in an area is destroyed, nature instantly heals. Then you get to slap the sad workers who lost their jobs out of their depression and turn them into hikers and hipsters.

It feels odd trying to gauge the target demographic for this game. While the execution is simple enough for children, I don't know if they'd recognize the visuals of deforestation technology, or the modern stereotypes of what kind of person spends time outdoors. I guess all ages understand the appeal of turning an axe into a bigger axe made of two axes duct-taped together. Worth checking out at whatever price you can justify an hour or two of silliness.

You can feed a rat and pet boars. Also you get to beat the crap outta people. I support this.

A cute 2-hour casual clicker about a bear clearing the forest of all sh.. i.e. from barrels, building houses, tractors and other things of residual human habitation. Levels can be replayed by 100%, you can change the bear's clothes, in principle, that's all) This is a good game of 1 mechanic, cool, not pretending to anything, the visual, although too "single-polygon", is done with taste, you can just relax a little, smashing everything on level, probably ideal for a portable playing.
