This is the best installment in the Madden series. There is the new owner mode and the mini camp thing, and this game is also awesome online. The graphics in this game are tight, and the gameplay is better than any other football game out there.

Haven't been playing too many games lately, because it's football season. So i've been watching my team play like shit while the fucking JETS are killing it. The JETS!!! Do you understand how insane that is??
I did go back to play some of this game, which I had when I was younger and played the shit out of. Yeah, I was the little bastard who always chose the Falcons, yeah I lied and said Tim Couch and the Browns were SOOO good in this one. You shouldn't have believed me and you should've banned me from picking Mike Vick, no one's fault but your own.

This was one of the first 2 games I ever owned. I remember whenever it said "fair catch" in the game, I thought it said "Fred catch" and thought that Fred from Scooby-Doo was in the game. I wish Fred from Scooby-Doo was in Madden 04.
Unironically the best American football game on the Playstation 2. Certified platinum heater. Another regular game in rotation in my home these days. Sometimes it's just soothing to let the AI play as the Vikings and absolutely trash your shit. It's healthy for the ego.
This is where Madden picked up and found its stride, to combat the ESPN 2k battle they actually made a great game and this was the beginning of delivering on what they could do to make the best product.
Vick broke the game, plus there was rocket jumping.
I played so much of this game though, especially those mini camp drills. Man, those were good times. They really made franchise mode fun. I made Jake Plummer and Ashley Lelie hall of famers through those mini camps.

Still the best Madden to this day! Maybe I’m biased because it’s the 1st one I played. This game right here might be the reason I’m a football fan if I’m being honest. Casually rooted for the Vikings up until this point. When I got this though, I checked the rosters and played the mini camp. That’s still the most fun I’ve had outside of actually playing exhibition games. I played a career once and tried my best to play everyone position. (You could do that back then — defense, offense, and special teams if you wanted!) As a bonus, this game is also where I got to hear A7X and blink-182 for the 1st time. So yeah, I’m logging this as a completion. Go Patriots!
