I've played the first act so many times since I got this game. I just never had the enthusiasm to continue playing. But I finally did, and everything past that first act is pretty awesome.
The combat can get tedious, but once you get into it, you start feeling it more.
I also really love how the ending has those little things where you get rewarded with little story nuggets for the optional objectives.

An absolute classic title, I replayed this a plethora of times when I was younger, and then again when it came to Xbox One/PS4. Yeah, I shelved out the cash for the port, only because I loved this game so much.
No matter how many times I played it, Ghost Rider was still a permanent team member whenever I got to the point where you unlock him. Ultimate Alliance embridled the love I already had for the comics, and made itself extremely replayable by being a stellar beat em' up, with plenty of unlockables and familiar faces from the IP.
I really miss this game but I've played it so much that I can't pick it up again.
Score: 88
