This one can be played with one player but it is SO much better with two players!! Some of the levels are a bit frustrating but omg the music makes up for it. I had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs with my friends playing this ♡

Pretty fun game, but if your lonely (like me) it’s not as fun. The levels are pretty fun and creative, but some are very difficult and annoying, especially those firefly ones. 3/5

whole music industry literally shitting their pants, shaking over how good lil' papercraft puzzle game soundtrack sounds

Sometimes a comfy puzzle game with a cute artstyle and a simple, but very flexible core concept is all you need

fun multiplayer experience with the wife, its a bit short and there are better games but it was fun enough.

Really works a part of your brain that other videogames don't. A hilarious game to play with friends. Good value and easy to learn.

Pretty hard but cute. Can get kind of frustrating, I don't know if I'll ever finish it. I never suggest it as an activity with my friends for fears of looking stupid.

This seemed like it would be a cute little game to try out with my girlfriend. The novelty of it died off pretty quick. We didn't play any more than a couple hours of it before getting bored.

killing the other player immediately after winning a level and moving on to the next level before they realize what you even did to them was the best part of this game. This game is basically the switches equivalent of pilotwings resort to me, considering the fact that I'm not a zelda guy so I didn't play BOTW at launch, and lets be honest super bomberman R and 1-2 switch ain't keeping the console turned on for very long. The game is a decent enough co op puzzle platformer, but once more games for the switch came out, I haven't touched this since.

Great Party game, but needs more levels

Although it may have seemed like it at the time, Breath of the Wild wasn't the only launch title for the Nintendo Switch. In fact, there were 13 titles total released on the Switch on March 3rd, 2017, and one of them was Snipperclips. Snipperclips, or "Snipperclips: Cut It Out, Together!" if you prefer, is a co-op puzzle game that was originally a prototype developed in Adobe Flash. For what it's going for, it's actually an okay game that's fun to play around with in short bursts, but it shoots itself in the foot a bit by failing to justify its price with its content.

Generally, the levels in Snipperclips can be summed up into two categories: form a shape or get something somewhere. It's an interesting approach to a puzzle game, but only when played sporadically, as many of the same ideas are reused from level to level. That means that, were you to play through an entire subset of levels, it'll start to feel repetitive rather quickly. Solving the puzzles generally doesn't take very long either, so that means this game is best experienced in 10 to 15 minute bursts. It worked as a game on a new console with limited software, but once it was surrounded by titles of substance, it was bound to get crowded out.

Still, SC is definitely a game with a unique and fun aesthetic, even if it wears out its welcome too quickly. There is a fair degree of creativity in this game, both in the concept and in the puzzle-solving approach. There's not a definitive correct way to solve many of the puzzles, which is good, as it makes them seem more approachable. It encourages exploration into the game's (admittedly simple) mechanics, and since it's quite simple to understand, making it a good choice for a parent-child co-op game session. It often feels like more of a tech demo than a full-realized product, though, which means its (currently) $20 price tag is hard to justify. It feels like a title that would make a great pack in game-charming, cozy, and short-but it feels just short of being its own game. Snipperclips was a fun experience while it lasted, but it doesn't feel like something that is worthy of being played today.

Snipperclips: Cut It Out, Together! is a neat launch-window game. It takes advantage of the Switch hardware in a unique way that makes it a fun time with friends. However, it's pretty light on content and you'll be done with it in only a few hours. Still, it'll be a fun few hours, at least.

This game is really great at what it tries to be, which is a cute/minimal co-op game. Super recommend for couples/roomies

What a cute little introduction to the Switch.

Snipperclips is a cute little puzzle game with a fun gimmick that is used incredibly well. The clipping gimmick was really fun and led to interesting puzzle designs with a good amount of variety in the types of puzzles. My main issue was just how easy it was to brute force the puzzles, me and my girlfriend got through not all of them, but a good amount of puzzles without even having to cut each other and got through them easily. Overall though, it's a fun puzzle game that if you're looking for a two player co-op game with someone, I would highly recommend.

Another just cute game, I love Snip and Clip to bits

A great co-op game that needs more levels! Felt too short and is a little hard to go back to after knowing all the solutions

the game is probably great but i'm too distracted trying to annihilate my coop partner sorry

SUPER underrated game. Great idea for a game, playing with my friends was the funniest thing ever. Some of my most cherished memories with video games come from this game. But yea after a while it does get boring.

very good game but i can only play it with one of my friends with the perfect vibe and co-op energy

Really cute and so much fun with friends!!!

What an amazing game. i'venever felt this much power even when i was running in class with scissors.
