Spider-man Shattered Dimensions is a great action game starring Spider-man.
The combat is pretty solid and it has 12 unique and action packed levels that take you across 4 different dimensions. The gameplay is your standard action game but I think this game is carried by the style. Every dimension has its own unique art style and I think the game really benefits from it and prevents it from getting stale.
Also I love how all the voice actors for Spider-man are voice actors that portrayed the character in older TV series. My personal favorite being Josh Keaton as Ultimate Spider-man.
Overall I think this is a great time for any Spider-man fan.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions takes us to locations ranging from lush jungles and sand-covered regions to a futuristic city. Penned by acclaimed Marvel comics writer Dan Slott, the game's story takes players on a quest to restore the magical energy of the Tablet of Order and Chaos, which has been shattered and scattered across parallel universes. In the quest to restore the fabric of reality, players face battles with villains never before seen in games, such as the deadly Kraven and Hammerhead, fan favorites from the comics.
I went through 3 distinct reactions while playing Shattered Dimensions. The first 3 levels I thought it were pretty neat, honestly cool Ideas and presentation. Next I reached the mid point where the clunk really showed and I got seriously annoyd at the awful gameplay. And then luckily they managed to wrap it up pretty satisfingly in the last 2 levels. Overall it was fun, but I only recommend it to hardcore Spidey fans and if you want to know where the current Spiderverse craze has it origins from.

Well, I liked the game a lot, but it has some big issues. The controls are awful, especially when you’re trying to web sling. The stealth sections were interesting, but poorly done. Both Amazing and Ultimate Spider-Man are pretty much the same. The story was okay, gameplay is mostly standard Beat ‘Em Up fair, graphics and music are solid, and it’s a Spider-Verse game.
A lot of memories from playing this game growing up.
The combat is surprisingly fun, but admittedly it starts to become mundane towards the end of the game despite being able to buy upgrades for fighting as you progress.
Unlike most modern Spiderman titles, this game is very linear. While I don't think Spiderman fits best in a linear format, this game very much makes it work, in my opinion.
As for the four different gameplay styles, I think only the Noir and 2099 levels stuck out the most to me as being very different, but they're all pretty fun in their own right. All levels have boss fights, usually more than one, and I almost always found them to be a good time.
The game does suffer from quite a few technical issues, at least on the PS3 version. I have many memories of clipping out of bounds and getting stuck along with other weird glitches. In addition, the game is unfortunately pretty short, especially compared to other Spiderman titles.
All in all, it's a pretty good game that I respect a lot despite its pretty obvious flaws.

An energetic, pretty, and very adept beat 'em up that unfortunately has its possible greatness muffled by a series of crushingly annoying bugs and crashes. The amount of softlocks, visual glitches, and general momentum-halting errors in this is way too high to forgive for a game with such speedy and demanding play (especially on hard difficulty) - which is a damn shame because otherwise this runs like a dream (minus its half-functioning lock-on system). Does exactly as advertised - lines up a docket of fan-favorite Spidey villains to be knocked around by four different Spider-Men with distinct playstyles and appearances. If that sounds awesome it's because it totally is. Personally my favorites are Noir and Ultimate, but they're all cool in their own way. One thing this does very well is how it manages to subvert of-the-era stereotypes which I'm normally averse to and makes them fun again - you've got QTE Hell and proto-MCU "uh... so that just happened!" millennial humor in no short supply here, but there's such a sense of infectious vitality to them that it's impossible not to be roped in and have a good time. They fit this world like a glove, and I honestly have no real complaints about them in this case. Deep, methodical combat; wonderful voice acting from a stacked cast; crisp comic book visuals; cutscenes that look great; and even Stan Lee narration - this is a good one, but it could have been even better.

this game brought me so much joy when i got it on release back in 2010 i beat it in the first week and replayed the missions over and over with my most favourite spider man being noir and least favourite being the amazing spider man i loved the witty sense of humour all the spidermen had but i also loved how all of them had different interpretations of this humour and different play styles to keep the game fresh and interesting with noirs stealth, amazing spidermans web combat, 2099s gliding sections and ultimate's rage mode with every level introducing a new villian and having 2 boss fights each one with the villian in base form and then the final with them using the tablets power to gain strength and then the game ending with mysterio using all the power from the tablet to try and take over the world overall this games mechanics gameplay and story is always fresh and fun to play and watch i will always hold this close to my heart and it will remain one of my favourite games and my favourite spider man game forever
Oozes charm, filled with fanservice, looks incredible, has amazing combat, 4 amazing and different artstyles. was a big dissappointment after web of shadows which is one of my favorite games ever but is still such a fun time. the ds game feels much more polished in terms of gameplay design but this is one of the best licensed games ever made still.
not sure why 2099 is in the front of the cover when his levels are the least inspired, least fun, most repetitive and somehow the most buggy and least polished. he's not even as popular as ultimate or amazing.
