Playing Team Fortress 2 for thousands of hours makes it very, very difficult to click with this... at least its gameplay is based on the masterpiece that is Half-Life.

plays kind of like ass but it's fucking team fortress

bu güzeldi bide o çözünürlüğü yanlışlıkla bozmasaydım

It’s a fun game to play when you’re bored

Being the game that helped thrust the class-based shooter into the spotlight I don't see that many people talk about Team Fortress Classic. Perhaps that's a given considering it's age, but even nowadays it's gameplay is unparalleled by any other modern class-based shooter and is truly a product of it's time (in a good way). The movement is sleek and each class serves their own purpose, and as with any other Valve game the amount of custom content that has been produced for this game over it's 24 years of existing.

this game is more dead than my will to live

"A Classic That Has Fallen"

Yet another entry to the "classic games that were popular but have since died" list, here's "Team Fortress: Classic". It feels like an extremely watered down TF2 (which, duh, is this game's sequel), but lacks all of the charm, balance, and care that the sequel contains. Shooting feels wonky, the time to kill is all over the place, and classes feel very indistinct from one another compared to the sequel. On its own it really just feels like a crummy "Half-Life" mod which may have been fun "at the time", but has since become sort of trash. It's hard to find games, and when you do there is a good chance there is a hacker or some sort of slaughter fest going on around you.

Overall, this game really lacks any appeal beyond "checking out what TFC looked like". It's boring, dead, and unbalanced, and something I would Not Recommend current gamers to go back and experience.

Final Verdict: 1/10 (Terrible)

¿Cuantos mods del Half-Life hacen falta para cambiar una bombilla?

little bit of valve history
probably fun if you like old fps team based shooters

This is like a big man's greasy cheeseburger boomer shooter version of the Team Fortress we all know and love (probably because it was released in 1999 whoops), and i adore it for it.

nothing has ever come close to its combination of speed and skill ceiling which reached so high the gamers had to be confounded and scattered across worse games

TFC hasn't aged gracefully but I still hop on from time to time to experience the superior version of Dustbowl

Sorry - I just don't really understand how you could play this when TF2 exists. It was fine for its time, I'm sure.

doesn't age well but was good

i played this in my animation class in high school

Not fun, dead servers, TF2 is better and feels better. I only got this game as part of a bundle

I'm in middle school and I've found a server that replaces rockets with a low poly model of Homer Simpson. I've found a custom minigolf map that has an easter egg that shows you pictures of naked women. I've played a game mode where you just ride up an elevator and jump off at max height.

I never got any good at this game and could only get kills with nade spam.

im sorry theres just nothing here. wheres the fun part. theres a reason no one talks abt this anymore

fec kin mad . co uk - BEST SERVER EVER!

tf2 but on goldsrc and its fucking bad

oh you love to refine your reflexes and decision making? i have spent over 10,000 hours dying to grenades on dustbowl
