I'll fucking say it: This game made me completely discard the opinion of anyone who likes DDLC. It's just DDLC but better in every way. I used to be a really big fan of DDLC when it first came out, and then I read this after it got translated... I'm really frustrated that no one talks about how much better of a VN this is than DDLC. I don't like directly comparing games like that, but these two are similar enough to the point that I think the best way for me to sell this game is to just say that it's DDLC but just better in every way. Would strongly recommend. Read it with the 18+ patch, it's required.

I honestly couldn't stop playing this VN once I started it. Would also recommend getting the game on the JAST website since the Steam release cuts content.

DDLC but worse

don't listen to the miyuki simps in this review section they probably developed stockholm syndrome

the amalgamation of what this game is trying to say, it's artstyle the way it's written and presented really makes it one of a kind
it interacts with you assuming you are a certain type of person which creates a weird way of positioning yourself as a player if you don't fit in that category
you should play this blind and you should give it a chance

fun but i got a "boring" good ending and i cant manage to do some of the others endings :c btw i love you aoi!!

What the fuck did I just read?

Really enjoyable story with good characters, don't have much to complain about except a certain weird plot point that they resolved for me, an incredible endearing story with great horror and romance elements that create compelling characters and a thought provoking message

It does a lot of very silly things andd looks very very smug about it, thinking ts actually genius, which makes me want to hate it utterly.
But it also does (a small number of) things very well, so hate it I can't.

The real love story was the gamer brain we got along the way

NE SHINICHI OKITEIO

My favorite visual novel I’ve played. Has similar themes to DDLC, but I feel this game does them in a much more interesting way. I wish this game got more attention, especially since it came out before DDLC, but it is what it is I guess. Team Aoi btw.

And I guess play the uncensored version if you want lewd stuff.

P.S. Happy Birthday! :)

The unskippable 10 minute long JOI scene near the end was very important I promise.

Not worth the hassle to get to semi interesting stuff , ddlc better

holy shit the bit where Miyuki said a walkthrough wouldn't have helped because all the security questions were randomized blew my mind

I thought that the "2d character breaking the 4th wall" trope might be a bit overdone but they did it well in this game I enjoyed the story. Ramps up exponentially as you play through and I played the final 4 hours in 1 sitting and my ass hurts now

and that ending man

The "vns will be 50 hours long then have a message about going outside" meme but its like 10 hours and on crack
