Going to treat all wounds with cash from now on

This is the first game that is technically a game that has given me pause in my New Year's Resolution to review every game I finish in 2022. This is a video game equivalent of a political cartoon. Giving it a star rating makes no sense. What a delightful curio. It makes me wonder how the medium could be adapted for political / news sites to use interactivity to express the ideas discussed in their articles.

Not to be taken to seriously but is fun to read during economy lessons with 20 neo-liberals in the same room. It's dark, but I found it to be soothing in that I got reminded that not everyone falls for the claims of billionaires, that they should have a right to exist

As someone who agrees with the point this game is bringing up, the humor tended to miss for me a lot (ah, yes, just what everyone should do: get all of their news from Twitter. That only ever made anyone a communist and didn't breed intense alt right wingers!), and it is so direct without any subtly or nuance that it you will either be like "yes, I agree with this, and?" or "please mr. bezos step all over me while i vote in another tax break". I dunno. If the humor lands for you it'll be funny but it just fell flat for me.

This is a free text based game that you can finish in approximately 30 minutes on itch.io. The premise is that you wake up one morning only to realize that you are Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, and you begin spending all of his money to fix all the various issues in the world. I really like how unapologetically this game tackles real world political issues, and it does a really good job at putting into perspective the inherent immorality of being a billionaire. I think it could be a really good wake up call to anyone who hasn't put too much thought into the ethics of billionaires.

perfectly achieves what it sets out to do, which is to make you have a lot of Opinions about the relationship between jeff bezos' body and his head
