used to be my favourite game before a certain persona 4 golden came to pc, this game is infinitely replayable and ughgghghghghg juggling will never not feel good

I used to play Castle Crashers on the 360 and I never remember it being this hard?? Me and my friend were doing an online co-op play through and areas like the Panda grassland and the sock puppet dragon boss just demolished us. The worst level spike was the lava world were I think we spent an hour on. Still a fun mindless game to play, glad that old Xbox Live Arcade games are getting new life on modern consoles.

It is a pretty fun game even if there are multiple design issues that can make it a drag to play.

Fun game! Really good beat em up with a ton of replayability and good multiplayer content. Good soundtrack too.

i put too much time into this game in middle school that i can never play/enjoy it again

Played on PC. Cool game thats very nostalgic for me

Insane mode is bullshit and I hate it so much why is it the only harder mode available actual slop

Castle crashers is purely old school beat em up fun wrapped up in the old newgrounds style of early to late 2000's. As someone who grew up in this period and was obsessed with this game as a kid, playing this game again with a friend was hard to let it pass me by. While the game isn't quite as good as I remembered it to be it still provided me hours of fun in multiplayer (which is a must for me to recommend this game) looking at the artstyle of a bygone era and occasionally smiling at the games surprisingly crass humour. The game plays as you expect you a light and heavy attack, the ability to block and jump allowing more combos to be created. Castle crashers magic system as what sets it apart. each character has their own magic style such as poison or electricity. This creates different opportunities in combat depending on who you play. Some of the unlockable characters have even more varied magic such as bombs and metal blades. The game has a huge of variety of weapons to unlock as well as animal orbs which are creatures that can give you unique perks such as double exp and finding hidden items for you. The game is short clocking in about 5 hrs per playthrough but finishing the game with each character unlocks another character of the whooping 31 character roster. The game has plenty of replay value for those who want it and if you can get a group of friends together and are craving some beat em up action there is not many better than castle crashers.

Just superior to the original version since you don't have to buy a bunch of dlc for some characters and it's just a classic seriously. With every character you unlock it's another playthrough with another friend/friend group sometime in the future when it's randomly brought up

I really could not get into this one

Beat 'em ups are shit but this one is cute and funny

Sozinho esse jogo deve ser triste.

i don't really think this game has a fault. it's infinitely replayable and just tons of fun with friends at all time, unlocking everything is super fun and the game is simple enough for anyone to pick up and play

it's better than the original, but i don't feel like it fixes the design problems.

Very neat game, about 5 hours solo, less if you have a full party of 4 to play with. Art style is great and controls are tight.

they did a decent job at remastering the game, but the gameplay is a little buggy sometimes and the minigame isn't as fun as the ones in the previous versions

I played Castle Crashers remastered on Switch and PC. Same game as the original but, ever so slightly cooler.

It's pretty short, and fun during the initial playthrough. But then there isn't much else after the fact to do. The difficulty creep also isn't that good. Poop jokes aren't the pinnacle of comedy, by the way.

i played this game like 30 different times with different groups of people I think, its so fun and replayable with friends, but I'd avoid going singleplayer

get some friends and get it started

Played this on pc with a full party of 4. Super funny game to play with friends. We had a blast and the little pets were the cutest.

Possuo muito mais horas do que deveria

Played this a lot years ago, still among my favorite co-op games and a really fun time. Though its design flaws stood out a bit more than before, it mostly holds up well with the remaster.
