As a fan that grew up with the Outrun series I can't love this enough. If you're searching for shiny graphics or super realistic controls then obviously this won't be your thing. If you're looking for old fashioned white knuckled skill testing, then this is going to be your jam. The regular campaign is plenty long (roughly 6 hours of content) and the DLC is only $1.99 per pack on the eShop, each with it's own roughly 4 hours of content with the extra cars. I highly recommend this to fans of arcade racers.

mediocre BUT has a certain charm, and i played it for like, 2 weeks straight, so it must be alright. music is good. pretty colours.

and people say arcade racing games are dead, they just don't look for them! or have varying understandings of what the word "arcade" means!

It's a fun arcade racer, but not having an online multiplayer mode is a huge letdown.

Um dos melhores clones do Top Gear e é do Brasil!

Só de ser brasileiro já ganha pontos, mas que jogo divertido, é o segundo melhor jogo de corrida que eu já joguei

Looks good, sounds bad, doesn't feel like racing and doesn't scratch the Outrun itch. Also there's a Mario Kart style turbo start but using it throws you straight into the back of another car and slows you to a crawl. Daft.

A really hard challenge, it satisfies you when a car bumps your back and you win just for a millisecond.

This was a surprise for the Playstation Plus game selection, but boy is this game a fun edition! Racing games aren't something I'm rightly fond of. There is just something about them that makes me not want to get them outright, but I actually really like playing them. Horizon Turbo also helps me want to play it by it's stylish graphics and simple gameplay. It's surprisingly addictive and rewarding to playthrough, although the campaign is a little too long and repetitive.

Easy to pick up and just get driving without having to think about external systems or whatnot. That shouldn't be as big of a selling point as it is for me, but here we are.

Pretty good racer, mastering it did take quite some time and caused a bit of rage. But in the end I did it and I enjoyed a lot of it. Though it is pretty bland...

Man, the soundtrack is so sick. Driving felt weird for the first hour or so, but you get used to it. Great game!

Awesome game with a fantastic soundtrack! Can't wait to go back into it to unlock all the cars!

It has a nostalgic appeal for fans of Top Gear and Out Run games. An amazing soundtrack and a very good gameplay. And the factor replay is so good too.

Jogo bacaninha pra passar o tempo e se divertir com os amigos.

For such a straightforward and basic racer, I really did play a ton of it.

i dropped it after 5 hours of gameplay, so i would recommend waiting for a sail. it's fun for a little while but than you reach a wall, and improving can feel impossible. it's too frustrating.

gameplay gets a 2.

I think the gameplay here really has the shine of the classic super-scalar arcade games, specifically in its rollercoaster-like tightness to the controls. it's also impressive how many different tracks they stuck in here, even if many of them do not stick out after a first playthrough. what I didn't appreciate was the constant crashing (pun unintended). I don't know if other versions of the game perform better, but I was forced to reset roughly every 10 minutes, making the marathon and tournament modes completely inaccessible to me thanks to between-race crashes. even in the normal world tour mode it was infuriating, as a crash would often reset my chosen options as well. really hard for me to get past that fact, even if I'm unsure of why it performed so poorly on my machine specifically.

I did at least try to get all of the trophies is most of the areas. I didn't really appreciate having to grab coins and items on the track... that's a feature that feels a bit too "mario kart" to me. the stress to get first was not overbearing at least, other than on a select few courses where the difficulty was ramped up. I would've really enjoyed sinking my teeth into this more if, again, it didn't crash every 10 minutes.

Que joguinho maravilhoso, tinha que ser sucessor espiritual de Top Gear hein <3

I can't put my finger on why exactly, but this game feels so much like a mobile game that I was surprised it didn't start there. It really doesn't play much like a racing game at all, and I'm not sure why that is.

None of this is to say it isn't fun (it really is) and the extreme simplicity of both the gameplay and the presentation makes it quite addictive. It becomes a significant challenge very quickly in the campaign mode. This means replaying races many, many times to shave off less than a second with each successive run, but the races are over in just a few minutes, so I don't mind at all.

The visuals and in-game graphics are the best part of the package. It reminds me a bit of the early 2000s Capcom racer Auto Modellista, but that game tried to straddle the line between arcade racer and simulation and didn't satisfy fans of either; Horizon Chase Turbo could not be any further from a simulation game, yet doesn't feel substantial enough to be an arcade racer either.

The game is a lot of fun, but if you're looking for an experience reminiscent of the games this one is purportedly based on—Outrun, Top Gear—or something more similar to modern arcade-style racers like Burnout, I would look elsewhere. This one really plays like something else entirely.

It gets annoying pretty quickly, just play Outrun instead

A good game, a top gear spiritual successor
