This game is still the basis of most fighting games. A real classic.

pc port is aids. dont play it. game itself is a masterpiece

The father of fighting games. Defined the genre and still manages to be better than a lot of newer games. I remember first playing the SNES version when I was 9 or so, and just spamming the hell out of Dhalsim's c. HP. Now I just try to zone my opponent because aggression is too hard lol.

This was my first fighting game and even though it was frustrating af (cause I was bad at it) I came to love the game with time.

While this game is remembered fondly, World Warrior is a mess of a game.

Both Hyper Fighting and Super Street Fighter are the games most people remember when they say they love "Street Fighter 2" and the SNES version of World Warrior is just not a good game.

Improvement on the first but it's not one of my favorite Street Fighter games. I think the mechanics are a whole lot better and you can actually choose characters with different fighting styles which is a plus it's a bit rocky though so it's still not perfect but it's at least some fun and a lot better than the first.

I am a master of karate and this game is the proof. I’m a certified black belt badass. Now get on your knees. No, I’m not lying, I really am a black belt!

I'm sorry but this for me has not aged well at all. I can still recognize how important it is to arcade fighters, however so many better fighting games, even Street Fighter games, have come out after this. It is all too slow and theres not a whole lot of fluidity with actions.

I'm pretty sure people liking SF2 is me being punk'd. This and every other version of it feels like you're playing underwater. It's miserable to touch.

This game defined a basis for so many other fighting games to follow, it doesn't get any more iconic than this. Trying to understand what the actual heck the characters were saying during the moves back in the day was funny as hell. good times.

All of its updates and sequels make it obsolete and bad but it's still impressive given its ambition

The first time I played this was in a newsagents on Woodside Street. I went E.Honda because I had read in a newspaper that he could slap over one hundred times in a second. My maw and sister went Dhalsim, one on the stick and the other on the buttons. I lost.

My entire life since that day has been a long quest for redeem myself.

s'okay. i respect what it did for fighting games as a genre, but it's rough around the edges and has definitely aged poorly. it's more fun than i'd expect a game from 1991 to be, which is damning faint praise, but it's probably the best way to sum up how i feel.

Good fighting game. has decent graphics and decent gameplay. 7.5/10, 4/5

There's a reason it's been remade 400 times.

Great fighting game. Great music.

This one kinda sucks coming back to it you didn't hear that from me tho 🤐
