just play it, saying anything will ruin it, just play it. now.

The gameplay isn't fun enough to justify all the time spent getting to it. Looks pretty, lots to do. Just none of it is actually much fun.

Worldbuilding is so fucking good. I love Night City

It's like they made a video game to specifically appeal to me.

Personally, the most fun I've ever had playing a video game. My favorite game of all time.

A masterpiece of a game I would highly reccomend to everyone

Still flawed and still far more buggy than people talked about.
I had multiple scenes where NPCs T Posed, characters mouth animations not triggering, quests failing to trigger, Johnny sliding around in the same position, having objects like dumpsters spawn around my character, keeping me from completing missions, falling through the city, characters being stuck in Potato Mode for a minute at most during cutscenes, and my favorite which was when I tried to drive a truck through a cop and the game started to completely glitch out and the truck started floating like in Repo Man and then it launched me halfway across the map and onto a building.

Even with those bugs and some story issues this was some of the most fun I have ever had playing a game.
I hate lore and I’m not nerdy about any worlds in games or anything but this has one of my favorite worlds in fiction, I love Night City and all it’s world building and endless stories and I had a blast through this.

(I am referring to the CURRENT state of the game, not how it LAUNCHED)

I just opened the game after the long download and immediately suffered a glitch in the tutorial mission. Every time I moved it reset even if I did it correctly. I also had a glitch where the scan in the brain dance didn't work. The game has some short freezes and the occasional buggy animations but they aren't that bad. There were also times where a car would appear out of nowhere. The voice acting for V and Johnny Silverhand is kinda shit. Not convincing in the slightest. Some emotional or introspective scenes are ruined because of it. If it wasn't for the fun characters and great visuals I would've shelved this thing. The story is fairly engaging enough to make me forgive the glitches and the combat is fun even if the gun controls aren't great.

Absolute cinema. Gráficos, Jogabilidade e história. Direção de arte impecável

Been playing this on and off since last February... finally finished, with all the endings ('cept a couple whose trophies autopopped prematurely from some weird glitch). To be honest, gonna really miss this game. Lot of fun, great world, loved bein' in it, roamin' around.

Spits you back to your last pre-endgame save after you finish, so final runtime is about 92 hours, plus the time from doing the different endings - just south of 100, prolly.

Got Platinum.

You run out of things to do pretty quick. The story is short and the side quests feel like weak filler content, but I found the RPG elements highly engaging. Having no prior expectations and having ignored the (however long) pre-game hype for this game, it was enjoyable

Gameplay good. But this game is a 1/10 Role playing game. Story is hurt by the role playing mechanics sucking ass. V might be the worst RPG MC ever, i wish they would just shut the fuck up, annoying ass voice.

I grew to appreciate Cyberpunk when I explored other open-world games. Its world and atmosphere truly immerse you, evoking a sensation I hadn't felt since Skyrim, albeit in a futuristic setting. One major highlight is the exceptionally well-crafted and believable characters, a trademark of CD Projekt Red's storytelling prowess. Even in its early stages, the game demonstrated solidity, featuring intriguing gunfights and the option to pursue personally enjoyable hacking-focused builds.

However, it was the 2.0 adjustments and accompanying DLCs that truly elevated Cyberpunk to one of the best in its genre. The introduction of a gunfight-focused build added a thrilling pace to the gameplay, while the Phantom Liberty story arc rivaled, if not surpassed, the main storyline in depth and engagement. Although I found the base game's narrative somewhat lacking in replay value, prompting me to step away once the DLC concluded.

Looking ahead, I anticipate revisiting Cyberpunk's world in a few years, hoping to explore it anew with a different character build. It's a testament to the game's richly crafted universe and engaging gameplay that keeps drawing players back for more.

one of the greatest comebacks in gaming history.

did this game deserve all the shit it got when it came out? most definitely. did cdpr lose touch with its audience after witcher 3? absolutely. did this become one of the best first person roleplaying games of all time? no doubt about it, yes! im part of a small group of dumb people who genuinely enjoyed this on release, but now with updates i'd be surprised to hear anyone who didnt. a very thrilling narrative with likable characters and keanu reeves surprisingly doesn't suck complete doodoo ass. actually very immersive, got me struggling with certain story beats because it put my roleplay first playstyle into question a lot (i am a guy in the early 2020s, i was not made to decide whether to keep a terrorist broski in my brain or not). gunplay is fun and somewhat challenging, melee is fun and braindead, hacking makes the game obsolete except for the ending (and is fun in a "playing a weird mobile game where i set traps for people and kill everyone). overall a good trashy time layered with thick and zany style, no one i wouldn't recommend this to.

Final Rating: 87/100

Controls: 7/10 (played on keyboard and mouse)
Controls feel good for the most part, though there were a few times where buttons felt too far away or in slightly weird spots. I found the hold one button for one function or tap it for another to be a little finicky but that is not an experience breaking issue. My biggest complaint is the controls during combat - shooting feels great, as does hacking, but I find that melee combat feels stiff and not as responsive as I was hoping. I know many people don't mind or don't find this a problem but I personally wasn't a huge fan.

Narrative: 9/10
The story for this game is fantastic, though thanks to the amazing available customisation, many peoples V may be completely different or feel completely different about how the story unfolds. This I find amongst many other things makes it such an immersive and enjoyable game, your V of night city very much feels like your own person in many ways. The game evokes many emotions that I didn't expect to feel along the way.

Combat: 9/10
Combat is cool there is no doubt about that. The gunplay feels very satisfying, hacking is quick and efficient, and both over clock and sandevistan feel amazing. My small complaint as mentioned above is the melee combat, though all the weapons look fantastic I find that it really just doesn't work amazingly. But perhaps that's just me.

Characters: 8/10
The characters that are possible companions in the game are fantastic, you really get a feeling for who they are and it's really nice to see you building relationships with them. Many characters you meet along the way are fantastic they feel like their own fully fleshed out people, a few reoccurring characters I felt were very 2D and felt like they were just people to get quests or what not from, this is not a big problem though as all the important ones are great.

Graphics: 9/10
Graphics are top notch, they really do a great job at portraying night city. Everything feels and looks amazing, lighting, aesthetic, everything just works. I noticed a few bugs here and there with things phasing through characters or occasionally characters not moving or getting stuck in objects, this for the most part I only noticed on side missions so it wasn't a huge issue.

Sound: 9/10
Fantastic sound track, the music is very fitting, matches what's going on and is very well placed. The combat music is some of the best I've heard it really makes you feel cool. All the radio stations available for night city were amazing as well lots of options, only thing I'd say is they occasionally get repetitive if you listen to the same station.

DLC: Phantom Liberty
TBP (will be updated once complete)

Consensus:
‌✅Worth Full Price
‌Wait for Sale
‌Don't bother

Did I like the game, I guess. It felt that it ended right as I was getting engaged into the gameplay and story. But at the same time, I had little desire to explore the world or the characters. It's a weird game.
