I played this game so much with my father, the goat really

It's alright but IMO never felt as good to play as Super Mario World, despite its critical acclaim.

The speedrun is really fun.

Best in the og trilogy no doubt

The sun brick-walled my toddler ass lmao

(pasado con save states) me parece bello.

The best 2D platformer ever

Played on my GBA and it was fun as a kid but I should play again

Fly, Mario, you beautiful plumber bastard.

Similar to Super Mario World, I understand why people love it and how important it is, but to me it's just an alright game.

Felt much better to play and it's good casual fun until some fucking sick bastard hellspawn bitch decided to make some maniacally evil levels but, I still think it's very good.

IMO the first great Super Mario Bros game. The step up in quality between this one and previous entries is massive. The levels are much more creative, better powerups, and many more secrets to find. As someone who hates autoscrolling levels, the last world would have been better if there weren't so many.

Kinda insane what a complete improvement this is over 1 with only 3 years apart and on the same console.

Gostei desse jogo, achei bem legal

I legit would not be into video games if it wasn't for this shit

Great up until you reach world 7, then the level design falls off a cliff.

This game also certainly feels like its too big for its own good, specially for a 80's game with no save or password system. I don't know how a kid from back then would find enough free time to beat this in one sitting without using the game's warp zones.

One of the best 2D platformers ever made and the very best NES game in my opinion

As time goes on, I appreciate this game more and more, what a masterpiece. The charm they encapsulate into this cartridge is stunning. Despite playing dozens of games this past month or so, this game is the one that stays on my mind, this is the one that I go to when I'm frustrated playing another game. I believe this game is the best controlling game, ever. The way this game plays is a work of art and should be commended. The sense of adventure going from world to world, the wide variety of level concepts, it never feels stale. I'd be lying if I said this game was perfect, World 7 and parts of World 8 are so annoying, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't having fun there to. This game is an achievement, and the best platformer I've played to date. Also, the music rules. Despite it's rudimentary nature it's fucking catchy dude.

SMB3 is an exemplary platformer, a fantastic sequel, and one of those games everybody should play at least once. The game has pretty much everything you could have wanted in a new Super Mario game back then: an array of new powerups, more intricate level design (including multi-directional screen scrolling), greater enemy and boss variety, minigames, secrets and alternate paths... Tie it all up with the new world maps, and you've got a game that set a high bar for the entire platformer genre.

But why did Goomba's Shoe only get to be in one level...
