This game was freaking amazing. During my first couple of hours it felt like it would become my new favorite game, and after completing it now that feels even truer! The singing mechanic is so fleshed out, and the game never stops to provide unique ways to use it to solve puzzles. Also singing is just super fun lol.

And yeah this game is so good when it comes to exploring. I didn't need to look up any walkthroughs; walking around and experimenting was enough (and I love being able to do that in games and be confident that I'm still making some progress).

Also I love the way this game uses the Steam Achievements, since in video games, only the hero can get the trophies. Super clever, I hope everyone can play this with the Internet on so they can see when Achievements show up and realize what's going on.

Another thing I gotta add is the damn story hits deep. Almost on the verge of tears at one point. I wouldn't consider it "dark" but its not afraid to get serious. The cutesy children's book art style is icing on the cake and I LOVE how the colors change depending on the scene. I took so many pictures during this game (I wish Steam let us record videos too).

Super epic game, I'm sure this will stay on my mind for a long time. I was kinda bummed out when it ended since as far as I know there isn't even a post game (I don't wanna stop being the bard ;-;). But its okay... The End is inevitable.

wonderful game with a neat style and a great cast of characters, even the side characters feel so full of life within the short amount of time you meet them. the story is strong, keeping its momentum throughout the entire game and ending on a great note (heh). the platforming was simple and fun, and the music wheel mechanic works well and is quite unique

the only complaint i have is that some sections of the games are tedious to get through, making it a bit of a slog to get through. however, i feel that the strong points of this game are enough to overlook this issue. it just means you gotta set aside the time to fully experience this game

if you have the time and like 2d platformers with a character-driven narrative, then i highly recommend picking up wandersong

Held back by some technical issues and some weaker gameplay sections (both issues imo fixed in Chicory) this is a wholesome and overall positive story that more people should experience.

¿Por qué resolver las cosas a espadazos cuando se puede cantar? Plataformas - puzzle original, con muchas interacciones chulas, una moraleja guay... Y a veces DEMASIADO texto. El rendimiento visual es muy inestable (en PC).

Almost non-existent gameplay and story not good enough to make up for it.

Wandersong is a terrific visual novel, except for the moments when it's a terrible platformer.

It has some ideas and is very colorful. Fun to be had.

vi meu amigo jogar e gritei horrores, grande jogo

Beloved little game, cute and fun and tugs the heartstrings. The musical game mechanic is also very novel and they do a lot of fun stuff with it.

I had a very good time with this game. Art style is cute and colorful, characters are great and well-written, the story is simple and fun, and the world is just bright and beautiful. The best part of the game is its musical mechanic, which is implemented very well and allows for lots of creativity. Had a great time from start to finish.

Charming little game. Control the world around you with 8 notes. That's all you have, and that's all you'll use. Save the world with those 8 notes. That's the game. I probably wouldn't play it by myself but if your little cousin who is 4 wants to play, there's always this instead of showing them cocomelon for the 300th time.

Where this lacks interesting gameplay it absolutely makes up for with its story and characters. They are tremendous! The three main characters are some of my favorite fictional characters now, and the plot takes you for a ride.

Probably one of the best indie games I have ever played. Cute atmosphere and a story that kept me hooked throughout its entirety

this shit made me cry more than mother 3

A unique 2D platformer RPG where you take on the role of a cheerful bard aiming to save the world with his singing. The game places an emphasis on music and harmony over traditional RPG heroics. The abilities of the music wheel change with each stage, making the gameplay charming, creative, and fresh. The characters, though quite simple in design, have distinguishing features. Interacting with them brings forth a touching narrative that explores themes of compassion in the face of adversity and overcoming insecurities.

Overall, it's an uplifting and touching adventure that fills you with hope and joy.

ps the game has problems running on high refresh rate monitors. I'd recommend running the game on 60fps capped (change this from NVIDIA control panel or equivalent steps for AMD/Intel GPUs as there is no fps limiter setting in-game)

A vibrant, pretty game with a heartfelt story I enjoyed a lot. Held back by some puzzles being slightly finnicky, especially on Switch. Great music, great characters, great game!

i LOVE this game overall and its message, as well as its depiction of unconventionally appearing trans characters in a non-derogatory light. however, the use of donut lips for some of the characters (esp poc) is offputting and i believe the game would've been better off w/o it.

What a great unknown game. This game is so meta and great in a way I was not expecting. I assumed it would be not unlike Hue or something short and small like that, but it’s not that at all. The premise is that you are in a world that is going to end, and you are not the hero, but you still keep trying. I was pretty impressed with the character development, and really enjoyed the cute characters and writing. Strongly recommend this game to anyone.

ninguem conhece esse jogo mas merecia

Really pleasant unique visual style coupled with a central gimmick of singing different notes that is used really well in several ways, but not the most memorable of experiences.

One of my favorite games. I really love this story.

I don't remember everything about it, it's been a minute, but the idea is that one person has been chosen as the hero by Eya (the goddess), but it's not you. However, your character decides to take it into their own hands anyways, for reasons that are clear when you play. I think that's pretty cool. Your character is also pretty loveable imo, if occasionally unaware, and their progression with Miriam is pretty nice.

Of course, music is a big part of this game, and I think it's done well. The soundtrack is about 4 hours long I think, and it's pretty good! There are a few standouts that I still listen to, and it serves the game well. Music is also incorporated into the game well, with the Bard's singing mechanic (and the way it affects the environment) alongside their bubbly personality making the game feel very lively.

The characters you meet and the bard's relationships with them are very fun, and the adventure overall is very charming with a really interesting story that has some darker moments to tie it together. It could be seen as cheesy or corny, but I love it and definitely recommend it if this seems interesting.

(Also love the dance button)
