Spongebob may be among the best cartoons of all time, but really, who could have expected that it would also spawn a 3D platformer which is roughly as good as the Banjo games?

this is one of the games of my childhood of all time

As a 3D platformer it's mainly just pretty good, gets a passing grade. Like a lot of its contemporaries the stages are a mix of fun, frustrating, and just ok.

As a Spongebob adaptation though 5 stars, this sells the humor and writing of the show's early seasons perfectly

better than banjo thats for damn sure

Glad its not just me that remembers this game slapping

If this was the only liscenced game I played I would feel absolutely amazing about any game that takes a popular IP. But this also came out with a remake so there's that. The game itself is really fun and I think that it's one of those games that means alot to someone when they played it during that era

"Don't ask questions you aren't prepared to hear the answer to!" will always be the best response to someone asking me a question. Fantastic platform collect-a-thon. Better than Movie, which is also peak platforming

This was a long wait for me to finally this game, and in the end, this is a very game the boss fight are brilliant, and levels that creative and very faithful to the show! The only issues I have this game is that you can only play the mini bosses once, Kelp forest, replay value is really poor, Mr. Krabs & Memarid man voices (also much Joe white tried), and 100% ending (while cute to the cast sings) feels like a rushed reward. But feel I can let my nightmare rest with Robot Patrick scaring me as a kid seeing the boss battle in YT while I young.

esse aqui é um bom exemplo de um jogo baseado em desenho animado que deu certo!

After a few weeks of brutal work, I wanted to wind-down and play something more easy-going: something I know would be enjoyable and pleasant rather than have to focus or play with intent. Thinking back to platformers and what would be good to play and tryout for the first time, Battle For Bikini Bottom popped up and thought 'oh yeah, I heard people liking this one.' I for sure got the calming atmosphere more or less with wry humor, but did not expect this to be a legitimate contender for one of the greatest platformers to come out of the 6th generation consoles with very well-made controls, gameplay, and peak platforming galore. Battle For Bikini Bottom deserves all the accolades and cult status for being so unexpectedly polished and incredibly well-designed; it has no business being this good.

Such a classic. A fire 3D platformer with one of my favorite cartoon characters. Doesn't really hold up that well anymore, but that's why I'm glad the remaster came out. Love this game.

goated game this is NOT nostalgia (even though I have a lot of nostalgia for it)

War can have devastating effects on individuals, families, communities, and entire nations. It causes physical and emotional trauma, loss of life, displacement, and destruction of infrastructure and resources. The psychological impact of war can be long-lasting, leading to conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depression. War also has economic consequences, including the loss of jobs and income, and the disruption of trade and commerce. In addition, war can have political and social ramifications that can last for generations. It's important to work towards peace and conflict resolution to prevent the negative effects of war.

A faithful game to a cartoon for kids leads to a fun time with levels that test the characters abilities

The best SpongeBob game hands down, I bet my sock collection on it.

One of the best spongebob games out there

Battle for Bikini Bottom may very well be the best Spongebob game out there. It is well-made with solid mechanics and gameplay. I revisit the game almost every year and 100% each time. As a personal favourite of mine, I am hyper-critical of the remake, which I will talk about when the time comes. Anyway, the story is fun, most of the voice talent is present, the humour is on point for the show, I have no complaints. I love it. You will too.

Super mario 64 but it's spongebob

Fun story about this game. Used to really enjoy renting the Atlantis Squarepantis game and ended up renting this game by accident. I remember being kind of disappointed but I played this anyway. Glad I did that because this is one of my earliest favorite games.
I find it hard to believe this game is as good as it is. This is one of the best 3D platformers I've ever played.

Loved playing this as a kid, but it's starting to get a little played out. Once you get a HD remake there's nowhere to go but down.

What a fascinating achievement that is, a pretty fun SpongeBob game that isn't a cash-grab neither lazy.
