Another solid Mario platformer. The game controls exceptionally well, to where moving with Mario and routing on the fly is inherently satisfying. It is let down however by the absolute overwhelming quantity of Moons and the occassional flow-breaking Cappy power-up

Played on Wii via Metroid Prime Trilogy.

Improves upon the great foundation of Metroid Prime 1 with a greater difficulty curve, new and imaginative areas and a persistent feeling of oppression that permeates the journey through Aether and its twin.
An excellent sequel and my favourite Metroid.

Sonic 3: Angel Island Revisited offers the definitive way to experience Sonic 3 & Knuckles. The base game was already one of the greatest platformers ever made, yet improvements like widescreen, the Drop Dash and prototype soundtrack options and the Drop Dash make it redundant.
As a whole package, it's unlikely SEGA themselves will top this in any official rerelease.
