AI and religion both interesting topics, unfortunately this game doesn't explore either particularly well in any way. Not only does it not bring anything new to the table but it also chose the already most overdone concepts ever. It's pretty enough, the puzzles are as easy a puzzle can be and still be called a puzzle.

Gorgeous game with not so hard puzzles. I did really enjoy it but I found the ending and the lack of continuinity quite disappointing. At the start there's a lot of emphasis put on the fact the Etienne does not see the characters as people, and although this could be an excellent lesson in empathy and maybe on how fiction affects reality, it turns into nothing. By the third book it's already starting to feel less important to the plot and in the end, nothing is done with it at all, even though it could have all tied really nicely with his love for Amanda.

Might try again later but for now I really did not care for a single thing happening.

Good lord I've never played a survival horror where I didn't want to survive. Not only did the characters not feel real at all, they were also infuriating (except Kaitlyn who was just okay). Obnoxious and stupid characters aside the plot was so ridiculous and clichéd I thought I'd have a better time if just turned on an 80s slasher because at least that looks good. Which brings me to my next point, the animation. It was fine at the start and then as the game went on it deteriorated making it look so ridiculous I thought I was playing a game made by one person in unity. And the cherry on top is how many choices and QTE do no matter at all. Truly a terrible game in every way.

Not being able to romance Tesla is the evilest thing this author could have done.

The choices barely matter and it's very rushed. If the author had taken the time to develop the world and not just introduce stuff every other page then it wouldn't feel like I'm reading a one shot fanfiction.

If it wasn't a gacha it'd be an almost perfect game. The story's adorable and the art is so lovely too from the cookies themselves to the items to decorate the kingdom. Unfortunately at the end of the day it is a game made to get as much money as possible from kids.

I've played one too many games with these exact same mechanics but this one is by far the worst. Some levels are absolutely impossible to pass without trying 100 times so you get the right blocks or by using resources which one or two "events" aside you can only get by spending money. Which brings me to to the gacha system which exists for what exactly? It's not giving me anything useful. And the decorations it gives so you can make your scenario pretty like CRK aren't that appealing and that ones that do something useful are absolutely impossible to get and have limited uses like, what?

It's mediocre. I gave it a hell of a chance by trying to complete it 100% and even started NG+ but by god does this game not have anything that stands out. It's Oblivion in space.

One of my biggest issues with it and which made it such a bore to properly finish is the fact that it's way too easy. I had to change the game from normal, to hard, to very hard and even then I was breezing through all fights on land and 90% of the ones in space.

Then not surprisingly there's no point to anything. They ask you to sneak if you don't you get a three different pieces of dialogue and nothing else. They give you the option to persuade you don't/fail, you get the damn information anyway. You join one faction and then you immediately join another faction that doesn't like the first one and nothing is said (plus the options for special dialogue from being part of a faction happen like what, 3 times per faction?).

One of the focal points is exploring planets and yet, what's the point? What's there to see? Same ten bugs and plants and scan and then what?

This game is wasted potential because things are designed beautifully, it's also one of the most sciency sci-fi games I've seen which to me is a positive and yet nothing is done with it. It's empty, nothing matters and still, bugs a bit too much.

Not only is the NA/PAL version missing content they also have the absolute GAL to release a game lagged to the high heaves and empty as hell. It's for children I know that and yet there are thousands of better childrens games. How much would it really cost them to come up with more minigames! Also to not make the game run like absolute shit!

Slightly better than remix when it comes to cashgrabbing but still just that.

It's what you expect really they really tried to make it as close to the show as possible. My only issue is that it's a bit to easy, you can finish this game in one afternoon or less if you really want.

It's nothing special but it is fun. There were definitely better looking games at the time this one was released including the CSI ones but as aformentioned it was entertaining. And surprisingly I was actually interested in the cases which is something most CSI games of this time did not have going for them.

Had to use a walkthrough and encountered a few bugs but it is a very charming game in it's own way. It's clichéd as all hell and the romance happens to fast but if you want to experience a very 80s pirate romance then it doesn't get better than this.
