For me, it managed to take the things about Breath of the Wild that may not have worked so well and just made them better. The soundtrack, the shrines, the main dungeons, the bosses, and traversal all see fantastic improvements. The story delivers a surprisingly emotional punch. Definitely the best final boss sequence of the series, too.

Truly the culmination of the Pikmin series. It's got the best of all the previous games mixed into one, while polishing the overall experience. A game I'll keep coming back to for years to come, no doubt.

Refines the original's ideas to a mirror shine. Looks and runs very well, with a truly limitless gameplay loop. Played this more than I can even track.
