Just discovered this hidden gem of a website. I never caught on to Wordle, but this was right up my alley! So much fun to play, I'll definitely check in every day to see what new game they have me guessing!

A modest golf game riddled with bugs that even a non-golfer such as myself cannot look past.

I played a single tournament (18 holes) in PGA Tour 2K21. This was only after restarting my game THREE TIMES due to the game not recognizing my controller. I was able to navigate menus just fine, but when it came to learning the basic controls, the game kept wanting me to play mouse and keyboard.

Finally, after getting the controller to work, I found myself stuck on one of the tutorial lessons. Not for lack of skill, mind you, but rather because the game couldn't recognize that I completed the objective. Eventually the game let me proceed, and I'm still not sure if this is due to a built-in failsafe that allows the player to continue despite failing the objective, or if it finally recognized I was doing what it asked of me.

Getting into the tournament, I played on the easiest difficulty, as I was sick and wanted something to relax. Because, what's more relaxing than golf? Not this game. No, sir. This game will have you feel like a fool for even picking it up. The commentary during the tournament added salt to my already-bleeding wounds. I am not a golfer, hence easy mode. I'm here to relax, hence easy mode. I am NOT here to be berated for not landing a hole-in-one or using the game-recommended clubs. It got to a point where I couldn't help but laugh at the commentary over my player (whose last name is, "Isbadatgolf," by the way).

I finished -6 under par; first place. And I finished this game knowing I probably won't pick it back up again.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is the pinnacle of open-world games that others strive for.

We could talk all day about the gorgeous graphics and draw distances, the motion capture acting, or the tone of the story. But I really want to discuss the gameplay.

I hopped between RDR2 and Assassin's Creed: Odyssey (playing both with Xbox One controllers) and I couldn't get over how GOOD RDR2's controls feel. Tapping "A" to make my horse gallop at varying speeds felt completely natural to me- as opposed to AC:O where you just hold "A" to go fast. They're different games for sure, barely comparable, but the fact I played two different open world games with horses from the year 2018... there's enough there to make a comparison. And I preferred RDR2.

Other gameplay elements like movement and combat felt like a massive leap from where similar control schemes were when Grand Theft Auto V released in 2013. Running and shooting feels buttery smooth, with VERY few moments that had me bewildered as to what happened on screen (turns out it was ME hitting the wrong button, not the game failing to register a press).

I will not divulge deeply into the story, but I will say it is well worth it to avoid spoilers at all costs. The story is incredibly well written and paced- one of my favorites in recent memory. It feels as if you're playing through a high budget TV show or movie. I laughed. I cried. I was filled with rage when my horse was nicked by a bullet. Red Dead Redemption 2 will make you feel emotion on every end of the spectrum.

I loved playing this game. I couldn't wait to get home from work or have a day off just to immerse myself in the world. I'm sad that it's over. I'm overjoyed I experienced it in the first place. I will never forget my first experience through this story, this world. I don't wish it were longer (there's still so much side stuff left for me to do if I so choose) and I don't wish for it to be shorter. It's perfect as is.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’m only an hour into this game and it’s already a 5/5 for me. It’s gorgeous and I’m already engrossed in the story. I cannot wait to fully explore this gorgeous wilderness on my horse!

As someone who never grew up playing Pokemon (I know, I know, but I wasn't allowed to have a GameBoy okay?!) this was a fun, yet overly simple, introduction to that type of turn-based combat people know and love.

While I'm not one for turn-based games, I did find myself enjoying the rock-paper-scissors gameplay of "Pocket Mortys." At least, I enjoyed it for the first hour or so. After a while, the game itself became quite repetitive and fell into the gacha-style traps of trying to get me to pay for more healing items with real money. I can't stand this. This is a game that is made to kill time in the waiting room at a doctor's office, or on the bus, or even sitting on the toilet after eating an extra burrito when you know your bowels are inflamed and you're not 16 anymore.........

I'd willingly pay a fee for a complete game WITHOUT gacha mechanics built in. Alas, that is not possible.

Pocket Mortys will stay in my pocket, FOR GOOD.

Perhaps it was the atmosphere in which I played Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, or perhaps it's because the humor just isn't for me anymore... The Borderlands franchise just doesn't seem to be for me.

I can't make too many comments about this game, as I only played it for about an hour, but for the first hour or so I wasn't fully impressed. Enemies soaked up bullets like sponges to water, and I often felt like my shots did almost no damage.

Again, I can't fault the game fully for this, as perhaps this is a game mechanic and I'll get stronger and better guns as time goes on? But for the first hour, I really struggled.

The humor has become quite dated- I am playing this 10 years after it released. While some jokes are timeless, Borderlands' humor stems from "wow look how colorful and wacky our characters are acting!" It feels a bit too... teenager, for me. I'm sure I would have loved this if I played it 10 years ago. But, unfortunately, this type of humor just doesn't do much for me these days.

It doesn't seem like a bad game- I'm giving it a 3 out of 5. I'll definitely go back and try and play some more. But again, for the first hour or so nothing really got me excited to pursue it further. I feel like I'm giving it a second chance out of obligation, rather than picking it up because it's fun.

And isn't that what a game should be? Fun? Shouldn't I feel excited to get off work, have a weekend full of free time to be spent playing a game? I know I've felt this way about other games... just not this one.

Silly horror game, very short.

Awful. Great concept- love the idea of actually going through my PC files to find clues was a great lure. But the convoluted nature of finding said clues felt more like work than a game. I play games as a form of escapism- playing as an IT criminologist was a little too real. Abandoned after 30 minutes.

A fun, spooky start to what may end up being a great creepypasta game.

I love creepypastas. They're spooky, fun to read, and often end with a bit of an eyeroll. Kitty Kart 64 is very similar, in that it gives all the pieces for a standard creepypasta game. However, it doesn't really expand upon them. The creator of the game will apparently expand upon it in the future, so my advice is to keep an eye on this one and try and extrapolate any lore elements you can find. I truly think we have something great on our hands, it's just too early to really see the forest through the trees.

I had fun with this game- what little there is of it- and look forward to seeing more of what's to come.

Thoroughly creepy atmosphere and great sound design! Though you know fully well something will scare you, it doesn't take away from this short (roughly 7 minute) horror experience.

As someone who is generally not a fan of turn-based RPGs, Super Mario RPG is quite the exception.

I've spent about 4 hours in Super Mario RPG at this point, and while it still feels early in the game the experience has been lovely. I'm not one to play turn-based RPGs- I often find I have no patience for them- but this game appears to be the exception.

The combat, abilities, and item list are fairly simple, making this a PERFECT entry-level RPG for anyone wishing to break into the genre.

The story itself is quite humorous, with many visual gags that almost bring a Looney Toons-esque quality to the storytelling.

My only qualm thus far has to do with the leveling system. Perhaps it's my old eyes, but I often find myself going up against enemies that are slightly overpowered and wipe out one or two of my party members in a few hits. It's not as if I'm skipping battles- I'm fighting every chance I get. But naturally progressing through the story, I didn't expect to have to grind after only playing a couple hours.

I'm very excited to play more, and I'll be sure to take my time to soak up as much of the experience as I can!

For a free game, Rong Rong's "Ann" deserves more recognition and kudos for what it offers.

"Ann" is the story of a lonely art student, Ann, who gets trapped in her school after falling asleep working on her final project. The school is haunted, cursed, and it desires a new soul to add to its ranks.

As Ann makes her way through this tower of terror, she encounters a friendly Security Guard, as well as some playful (yet dangerous) ghosts possessing all sorts of inanimate objects.

Will you discover the mystery behind the curse on this school?

I played "Ann" for about an hour and a half via mouse and keyboard. The controls are very simple, but the puzzles and chase sequences proved challenging. Try, try, try again is the only strategy one can incorporate in a game such as this.

There are cutscenes in this game, and they're very well done! Fully animated cutscenes with artwork that nearly made me jump out of my seat more than a few times! I truly enjoyed these animated sequences, well done to the animation team.

"Ann" is a free game, but it provides so much more than most free games out there. I will definitely be checking out Rong Rong's games in the future. Please, give this game a try and spread the word!

Decent jump scares combined with an unnerving atmosphere make for a solid horror game, even if it's relatively short.

I spent roughly an hour and a half playing The Convenience Store. I felt unsettled for most of it and was thoroughly impressed how the smallest things would startle me and make me feel uneasy. Who knew a broken door could seem so ominous?

I would love to do another playthrough to get whatever alternate endings are available. My only issue is how SLOW everything moves. Knowing what to do now, it would feel massively frustrating trying to do another run at the speed of a snail.

I will admit, the overall experience left me scared and on-edge for hours after completing it. I actually had my girlfriend standing in a doorway and when I noticed she was there, I jumped out of my skin! It takes a lot to do that to me, so bravo on the lingering effects.

Overall, the game is decent. The scares aren't groundbreaking, but they are pretty terrifying! Though the control of the character is a bit slow, it adds to the uneasy atmosphere of the convenience store. Definitely give this game a shot if you have a free afternoon and feel like getting scared!

My distaste for mobile gacha games eclipses an otherwise decent- and important- story in the Kingdom Hearts saga.

RIP Flappy Bird, you were too good for this world.

Using motion controls to steer, while novel, is often frustrating.
