Quite a fun experience. Wish there were more than just Street Fighter characters on Capcom's side. Controls quite nicely and functions very smoothly (apparently better than the PS1 version, of course due to the 4MB RAM cartridge).

2016

It's hard to dislike Doom 2016.

After nearly 27 hours of gameplay, I have decided that Doom 2016 is a good game. The graphics are excellent for 2016 standards, the gameplay is consistently fun, and the music is fitting for the atmosphere and action. The enemy designs, weapons, movement, and new mechanics are all great.

However, not every aspect of Doom 2016 is perfect. I do not think that the game's story was very interesting, but I understand that gameplay was id's primary focus. I also may be one of few people to say this, but I encountered a few odd bugs and glitches while playing the game- none of which were performance related (the game runs buttery smooth on my higher-end PC). To quickly name a few, enemies would sometimes get stuck in walls becoming unkillable, I would fall through the map after a glory kill, and after replaying a level to collect a missed rune, I accidentally exited the level, making it impossible to complete one of that stage's challenges. These are quite trivial issues, but I found them notable nonetheless.

This was just my experience, yours may differ greatly. Good luck, and keep killing demons. :)

Game encourages you to hide behind a corner and wait for your opponent to come to you. Great gameplay.

Cool gunz doe

I've got quite fond memories of Dark Moon. Never had the original, so I was surprised when I learned that a GameCube prequel existed. Good level design and gameplay. Ghost designs are unique, and Luigi is very expressive. Stopped playing it at one point years ago, remembered about it a few years later, and finally beat it once and for all. That was around 2017 or earlier.

Rabbids Travel in Time 3D has left me bewildered. Bewildered as to why I even own this uninspired, unpolished, and essentially unfinished game in the first place.

Rabbids Travel in Time 3D manages to be far too easy with a touch of bullshit sprinkled within. While some levels could be completed by a four year old in a matter of seconds, some seemingly easy stages are quite challenging to complete due to the game's janky physics engine.

There is no incentive to conserve health or complete any of the bonus stages, as health pickups are far too common within every stage, allowing the player to tank through any obstacle, and the bonus stages give minimal to no rewards (limited to more rubber ducky points or whatever they're called).

The game runs out of collectibles too quickly. After completing only three out of the four worlds, I collected enough rubber ducky points to unlock every collectible trophy, and the costumes run out just as quickly. After maybe three stages in each world I had unlocked all the costumes respective to each setting.

Lastly, the ending is atrocious. After completing all four worlds, the player is rewarded with-- an unnecessary cutscene.

1/5. Almost no originality or redeeming qualities. Higher than a .5 for not screwing anything up, but the game didn't even try to do something new.

I love when they said, "we're about to stumble, guys!"

Funney music.

I wasted more than a hundred dollars on this piece of shit.

If you didn't play Skylanders as a kid, you were not a kid. Admit it. You were born then skipped to age 22.

Good. Would be better with color and the auto-drop feature. But then again, it's classic tetris.

Ok, fuck this game. Mega Man is unbalanced, unrefined, and not fun to play. Gets credit for having the basic Mega Man structure and being the very first entry in the series.

Not a game I would want to play again.

One of the better Ubisoft games of the last ten years. That's not saying much.

Great references to all 7 cough cough, needs more Jojolion representation, cough 8 Jojo parts. Story is complete garbage. Gameplay is below average.

Cool. Impressive how well this runs on an original DS in 2004, no less. Wished I had the full game.

HOOOLY SHIT THIS GAME IS AWESOME.

Probably the most realistic tennis game I have played. Virtua Tennis has great controls, the movement feels nice; this was honestly a pleasure to play.
