Every player has the game in his gaming history. The one that makes you understand that playing video games is more than a simple activity. The game that truly lit the fire for me is Final Fantasy VII. It is not the best game, I can totally agree on that. It has only got its materia system for him, which is one of the best gameplay mechanic I experienced so far. Lots of RPG can have better graphics, better stories, better characters, but Final Fantasy VII will still be the best game because it means so much to me. It has been the right game at the right time.

Never a video game made me cry this lot, even if you know from the begining where the story is going.

"I'm grown man, I'm a fully adult now, I can face this game again without crying"
Cries again at the end of the game

As it comes to the remaster itself:
Even though the game is designed for portable consoles (with the defaults linked to that, like small maps), it is still a pleasure to play. The small changes added by this remaster makes the game less unfair or random.

Je me sens comme Jean-Michel Nulengeo quand je joue c'est terrible

Great Gameplay. Stupid Story. Like an 80's actionner. So cheesy it's cool.

The boyfriend... That godamn boyfriend...
The power of the narration is strong in this game

Basically an over-the-top Escape from New York knock-off. Strangely, the game is quite good : decent graphics, cool gameplay, well implemented Metroidvania elements. Some battle phases can be a bit tough.
But it's kinda hell fun to play.

This third Final Fantasy episode manages to correct lots of the defaults of the two first games. The job system is cool and the story is very nice. By the way, the Final Fantasy XVI game is strongly linked to it. Too bad the over-diffucult last dungeon(s) ruins a bit this very good JRPG game.

A true masterpiece. The fighting system is nice, so it's very pleasant to play. But the main strenght of this episode is the story. All the characters are interesting, everyone got his "time to shine" and the game contains many epic sequences.

Can I get modern controls just like in Street Fighter 6, please ?

Michael Bay's Super Circuit
I really love this game. Pure arcade sensations, and the ideas of the "event" power-ups is so good. Very fun to play.

The Ultimate 2D platform game, with epic musics.
Each time you play it, you beat every level faster. Some says Sonic games are only based on speed. I do not agree. Speed is the true reward from mastering this game.

Basically a Legend of Zelda knock-off.
But the changes made to the formula made the copy way better than the original. I really likes the spirit system. And the fighting system which tends to turn the game into a beat them up sometimes is incredible.
This "action packed" version of Legend of Zelda is the perfect one for me.

This game didn't make me feel like a fighter pilot.
It made me feel like Pete fucking Maverick Mitchell.
