Loses steam halfway through

Played on Silver difficulty.

Cool story, great music, great visuals, much better characterization than Adventures, but still a massive step behind the Nintendo 64 classic when it comes to Gameplay and Replayability, and the 4 different, wildly inconsistent types of gameplay styles makes playing this title effectively feel like more effort than it's worth. I can see this being great on mouse and keyboard, but unfortunately, you're stuck with the gamecube controller, making this title range from decent to frustratingly annoying.

Despite having beautiful environments, some memorable characters, and an excellent score by the endlessly talented David Wise, Rare's own attempt at the Action Adventure genre is almost a perfect example of exactly how much damage poor management, misdirection, & corporate meddling can do to what could have been the start of another timeless series of Rare titles.

Krystal makes me feel very uncomfortable.

Beautiful Soundtrack, Brilliant Story, & Wonderful Presentation, it's a shame it's a video game and not a movie.

This game is severely misunderstood.

An incredibly bare bones Yu-Gi-Oh sim compared to previous entries, but a reliable and ultimately fun one nonetheless.

Love everything about this game EXCEPT playing it; the story, music, characters, even the shotty localization elevates this title, many of it's story beats will stick out in my mind for years to come. Unfortunately, I can only stand so much mindless monotony- and I can't bring myself to trek the final dungeon again.

Tokyo's overworld music gives me nostalgia for an apocalyptic wasteland I've never visited before.

Like SMT1: this game boasts an interesting and engaging story, filled with all the hallmarks of a solid Atlus RPG; Unlike SMT1: the gameplay is actually worth paying attention to, and doesn't entirely amount to a glorified first person shooter. If you're planning on checking out one of the Shin Megami Tensei SFC titles, I highly recommend you choose this one.

Only problem is that it isn't longer and you only play as Henry once

This game may be broken but it's one of the few SNES fighters that has responsive controls, a legitimate meta, Sailor Mercury, and comes packed with a proper training mode AND a viewable in-game command list.

Incredibly flawed but a treat for fans nonetheless. Protip: stock up on MP recharge items and keep Pluto for endgame, she has the best move in the game hands down, was able to beat it while being horrifically underleveled.

Believe me or not, but this game's ds port is an exceptional metroidvania starring Spider-Men.
